I'm HIGHLY considering purchasing the one on hsn, but I was wondering, to the people who have purchased one, would you say I should get the 1 yr protection plan or no??

Don't you think the iron will last longer than a year? I have never purchased a protection plan for an iron - think it's a waste of money. All my irons have lasted more than a year. However, this is my opinion so do what you think is best.

Heck no, most likely you will forget you have it, or be too lazy or your issue wont be covered.

Wait until the 11th month, open it up, sabatoge the wiring and send it in to be replaced
