UV protection for hair?

Aveda has a sun care line that protects hair from damage for the sun. I just purchased this along with the Keratease sun block. I will alternate between wearing hats and using these two items.

What type of hats do you ladies wear and do you wear a silk scarf with them??

This is what I usually wear:

I will wear a scarf if my hair is out or in twists (rare). But a well-made wicker hat doesn't pull or break off my hair despite it's reputation for being prickly.

As we were outside for our morning walk this morning, I realized that I'd forgotten about getting some UV protection for my hair.

I went to a local healthfood store and was shocked at all the varieties of shea butter! I ended up getting the lavender one. I'll see how it works when I use it in the morning.

Also picked up this hat today to wear during my outside workouts. We are having so much fun outside, but I don't want my hair to suffer from it.
