OKay... so I heard this is going off the market. What other shampoo are you gonna use other than that to leave your hair moisturized?

Girl U aint know? All of the hardcore CON users have enough in their personal stock to last for the next 2 years. They may not be able to answer your question at the moment.

I plan to stock up. Not sure what I'll do after my 10 year supply runs out.:lachen:

I have about 5 years supply myself and I have no clue yet what I'll be using. Hopefully by that time, there will be something new out there I can use. But if there isn't any, I might have to settle for the all too expensive aveda DR line and their smooth infusion line as well.

I originally wanted to use the AO honeysuckle rose, but it's gotten some bad reviews on the board, ie, it's known for making the hair dry - not exactly the feeling I'm goin' for. I thought about the Jason's line or the Avalon organics line as well but I haven't been hearing anything about them, positive or negative:look:.

after i stock up on CON green label, i will probably be using mizani's botanifying conditioning poo (has sulfates though) or giovanni's smooth as silk poo....

Are you serious? It's going to be discontinued? Someone from this board said that it's being revamped with organic ingredients and new packaging. I would like to try the new formula.

Oh well, I just started using it consistently about three years ago. I have three 32 ounce bottles in my closet. I guess I'll have to buy more, because my stylist is crazy about the detangling/moisturizing features of this shampoo.

I have my Verifen Complex shampoo--which I started using ten years before I stumbled onto Cream of Nature. This has been my number one shampoo. CON (green label) is just as good for a lot less. :woot:

@the bolded same here... I thought they were just redoing the formula...not discontinuing it.

the way I look at it is, if they're re-vamping the original ingredients, that means they're adding stuff and taking away stuff- hence, the original ingredients are discontinued. I want the original formula.

They are re-doing the formula. The shampoo's are still going to exist. Its like they are discontinuing the old formula, but they just actually added organic ingredients. Check out this thread I posted: "infor on CON....check this out"

I don't want to try any new anything. I bought 6 Professional size bottles @ $4.99 each. Those should last a few years for my daughter's and I. After that, we will transition to the natural indian shampoos, or go back to Keracare detangling shampoo.

NO.. OP IS CORRECT...THE GREEN LABEL CON IS BEING DISCONTINUED!!!!! along with the RED LABEL AND BLUE LABEL PRODUCTS.

They are not reformulating the green label. They have already introduced a new product with a new name. GREEN LABEL CON will no longer exist.

If they bring it back...it will only be because no one uses the new formula. Individuals need to call the company and complain.

I AGREE! I don't use CON, but I know how everyone feels! One of my staples just got reformulated and I am stocking up on the old because I DO NOT want to try the new one. :whyme::hand:

They need to STOP saying that they are not discontinuing it. It really makes it seem like they think the consumer is stupid.

:yep: most big corporations bank on the idea that most consumers are dumb and won't read ingredients. They think that most individuals will just blindly pick up the new bottle and buy it because it has CON on the bottle.

I bought five of the pro bottles and plan on going back to Keracare after I run out too.

I've been MIA for about 2 weeks and come back here to find out that the green label CON is being discontinued???? Ohhh whyyy:cry: I just started using this stuff and fell in love with it!! Used to use just the red label one for years, but not until recently did I start on the green label one. I'm going to have to go in mourning now.

no. it contains ammonium lauryl sulfate.

Thanks Destiny 616. I can handle the laureth sulfates but not the lauryl sulfates - so this one is not for me. Crap!! Looks like I will have to get that gosh awful expensive Aveda afterall. Dang and I was really trying to avoid that too. I'll keep searching for a lesser expensive one for now as I still do have quite a bit of CON poos to last me at least another 2-3 years. By then, I should be able to find a cheaper but still moisturizing sulfate-free replacement poo - crosses fingers.

here's a small list, maybe you can search the forum for reviews
Abba Creme Moist/ Abba Pure Color Protect Shampoo
Abba Moisture Scentsation/ Abba Pure Moisture Shampoo
Healthy Sexy Hair Chocolate Soy Shampoo
Modern Organic Products C system hydrating Shampoo
Jason naturals sea kelp shampoo

Anybody have any thoughts on the CON blue label? It says it is for "fine, limp hair"? I ordered 3 of these online, I am thinking I meant to get the green label but did not realize they were NOT the same until I got it.
