1: Take off sleep scarf
2: Take shower, let a lil mist get on my hair
3: Apply Mega-Tek to damp hairline
4: Double check that the updo is still holding up
5: Mist well with my daily mist mix
6: Tie on my travel scarf tightly to 'sleek' down the frizzies, fuzzies, and halos
7: Roll Out
8: Park at work, take my scarf off, roll on.

Sounds like me. Even if my mist is just water...

Well it seems like a lot of you ladies love the exact same moisturizer I just used on my hair....Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Cream!! I love that stuff!!.........But anyway it seems like a lot of people either moisturize or apply barely nothing in the morning...hmmmm.....I have been applying serum (CHI Silk Infusion) in the morning but now I want to change that habit because I dont like the build up :nono:. Since I moisturize at night, I may just spray my ORS Olive Oil Sheen  n go. I mean that would make since whether I was wearing my hair down, in a braidout, in a pony or bun, or even in braids since I wouldnt have to fuss with my hair too much. Plus my ORS Olive Oil Sheen is light, has pretty good ingredients, and adds natural sheen to my hair. Hopefully this wont cause build up.....

Pretty, I LOVE my Burdock Root Creme
I apply the Burdock Creme and a squirt of Aveda serum throughout my hair at night before I wrap it up.

I moisturize, seal and into a protective style it goes. Which is usually a bun. THis morning I finger combed. Trying to cut our brushes and combs from my regime.

I mainly wear buns so i moisturize in the morning. If i have worn a scarf to bed then i probably moisturized the night before . What i'll do is add a little bit of moisturizer to the edges and check the ends, bun and go. Otherwise i'll just moisturize in section and bun n go. I don't seal.

I remove my plastic cap and bonnet, spray my hair with a mixture I made (hawaiin silky moisturizer & coconut oil), brush with a soft wig brush, pony then apply a bun or phony pun. Sometimes I'll throw my silk scarf on over it for a few minutes to help my hair lay smooth then I'm out the door!

I remove my pin curls, finger style and go..

Loni, your signature comic is too cute...LOL

This my new three day regimen since having my hair fully relaxed.
1.I take off my scarf
2.Take down my pin curls
3.wrap my hair and put scarf back on
4. After a shower and getting dressed, I remove scarf and ruba a small amount of (ORS olive oil moiturizing lotion)
5. Finger style and go

Sometimes I co wash sometimes I don't it depends on wether not I can put a comb through it. Otherwise I slap some sun silk straighten up cream(its a cross between a moisturizer and a gel I consider it a leave in) and some fantasia ic gel. Slick it back and were my phony bun or a pony tail.

I apply nothing to my hair in the morning because I like to moisturize before bed at night.

morning routine is simple. depending on how I protected it for the night, I'll either:

1.release clips holding my hair in a wrap and shake hair/finger comb

or

2. take out pins from pin curls and shake hair/finger comb

the first takes less than a minute; the second about three minutes.

Same here, I moisturize before bed so I figured in the morning I should only spray a little of my ORS Oil Sheen for a little shine, protection, and....to smell good :lick:

I moisturize every night, seal with oil and put my hair in 4 braids. In the morning I slather a little Rusk Smoother over each braid, seal with almond or vatika oil and unbraid for a braidout. It's cold here now and the air is dry so I need to also moisturize in the morning. Summers here are usually humid so I won't need to when things heat up.

In the mornings I comb it out, put in moisturizer, brush it and put it in a ponytail (most of the times, and not the fake kinds)....

I typically prep my hair at night, so, if I'm cowashing daily, I'll rinse or cowash and braid or twist at night and in the AM, release and diffuse. I add a little seyani hair butter to keep it all soft, supple and add a nice shine.

Unbraid it, unbun it, or unwrap it, then moisturize my ends with Aveda USC or CDHHB. If I am wearing it curly, I'll cw or add some IC Gel or Profective Breakfree.

I don't do anything. I get up put on my wig and go! To busy to fool with my hair in the morning. I moisturize and seal at night.

I moisturize my hair at night and put it in two pin curls before I tie the scarf on.

In the morning? :look:

It really depends on what goes down after I remove those pins. :look:

Sometimes, I put in some Carusos if I am going to wear ti down and I need the ends bumped, sometimes it just falls into place with a light combing or fingercombing.

But, sometimes (most times :look:) , especially when it is close to relaxer time, the only thing I can do it grab a claw clip, put it up and keep on moving.

It just depends. But I rarely have to apply any moisturizer or oil or anything.

I moisturize and seal at nite before bed because I wake up in JUST enough time to rush out the door :) but other than that I just take my scarf off and run a comb through it and either leave it out or pin it up and go about my business.

Wake up...
1 take down my two or three braids.

2 Moisturize w/leave in & seal w/oil @ ends if I feel like it, otherwise I just skip to step 3. I moisturize at night so I'm not too concerned if I don't do it in th a.m.

3 Apply aloe vera gel &/or wax to my edges.-I may brush or not

4 Bun it

5 Wrap a scarf around the edges

Start showering etc etc etc.

Take off scarf after I dress and leave.

Take off my scarf, take down the 2 braids add a little gel to the edges and bun and go.

If I'm wearing it out:
  • remove scruncis and scarf from around hair line (that I slept in); wince at bedhead
  • cover with shower cap while I shower
  • remove cap, mix 15 sprays of Devacurl Set It Free and a smidge of Qhemet Burdock cream in my palms, lean over and scrunch into hair
  • pull back loosely into a scrunci while I make up and dress
  • Undo scrunci and fluff with hands

If I'm bunning, no Set it Free. Just Claudies Satin lotion and/or Burdock Cream, maybe KBB Hair milk and some Jamaican castor oil on the ends before I bun
