I knew I experiencing awesome results with the decreased shedding and overall strength and thickness of my hair. But the newgrowth the past 8 weeks have given me is the TRUTH!!! So since January, I've been a powder/tea rinsing and oil pre-pooing fool and I'm happy to say its paid off y'all.

Here is where I started:

After you complete the oil rinse, do you use a regular conditioner? Also, do you do the oil-prepoo before or after the rinse?

Newflowers, I actually don't do an oil rinse, only the oil prepoo and I use Coconut and Amla oils for it. I will prepoo for a day or two first, then make my powder tea rinse on wash day. Once I've rinsed, I do a quick conditioner for like 15 minutes, then a deep conditioner for an hour or so. Its really a quick and easy regi.

What powders do you use?
How many tbs or tsp of each?
Do you deep condition right after or co-wash?
Are you able to comb your hair after the rinses w/o breakage?

Sorry for so many questions, I'm just REALLY trying to make this Ayurvedic thing work. :grinwink:

Me too, but I have SOOO many products in my cabinet (and just bought some more). I have GOT to use those up first. :lachen:
 
Absolutely great progress. It's official - I'm doing ayurveda - I guess it takes some people like me a while to catch on - but I am getting there!!!!!
