Hi my beautiful sister. Castor oil hands down! I sometimes saturate the hair with aloe vera first and then the castor. It looks as if I have JAM in my hair...God forbid!

This is what I do. I use Hollywood Beauty Castor Oil grease, rather than the liquid castor oil. I use the aloe gel.

BTW: I have relaxed hair but was at 10 weeks post when I tried this method. My waves were so prominent after. Just like when I was natural.

sometimes i do the chicoro method- minus the scarf when i'm in a rush with my hair fully dried. If i have some time usually and hour or more, i'll get some leave-in and my sunsilk hydra tlc creme and my boar bristle denman...and i go to town. Thats how i get my buns so slick. Or if your worried about thinning edges or hairline... a scar and your hands will do too!

ITA with the Castor OIl, but I think QP Glaze is the best for slicking and holding the edges down.
