It the older picture, it looks like you are using MUCH bigger curlers, so that would give the impression of more volume.... Honestly - it looks about the same to me - though it looks lighter - henna?

before my layers, my hair used to feel heavy at any length... Now with my layers it doesn't feel heavy anymore. Length also plays a part in how "thin" your hair may feel/appear. Have you done anything drastic to your regimen?

Well to be honest I used the same rollers but my hair came out CRAZY that time. All I can do is shake my head and laugh. And I have no idea why my hair looks so red. I used to do cellophanes, the last one I did was about 2 months ago and i have washed a million times since then. I'm starting to think that that is my natural hair color but it doesn't seem like that would be right It looks more reddish in the sun. Would a cellophane still stick around after all this time and washing/rinsing almost everyday?

Well, my longest layer is just brushing APL, then it just goes up from there. My front/sides are not even SL yet I haven't done anything drastic to my regimen so I guess i'm just wondering if i'm tripping in my mind you know? Thats why I posted the two pics to see if anyone sees a major difference or if it's just me.

I don't see any difference either Bre. It may feel "lighter" to you, but it does not look thinner at all, if it did look thinner I would tell you.

See, I wasn't even gonna comment on how mild heat damage might make your hair look lighter - wasn't gonna say a thing.

It could be your natural color, though - it's very pretty, honestly.
