Hi Ladies,

I'm currently using a conditioning heating cap by Gold 'N Hot and I am thinking about buying a hard hat dryer. For those of you who use salon hard hat dryers, I was wondering what brand is good. I was looking on Sally.com and they have a pink one by Ion.

I am not sure if it is any good, or is there a better brand? What are your thoughts?

Thanks

I have that one and it gets hot. I think it would be a good buy. I dont have any problems with mine.

Thanks. I've never had one before, and I think that it would be a nice change from using the heating cap.

Around these parts, the Pibbs 514 or 512 is the holy grail of professional hair dryers. There is a sticky with a Pibbs discount for LHCF members. I don't have one, but if I did, I would get one or a really good knock off. Knock-offs are Pebco, and some others. Ebay has nice discounts. Do a search and you'll find tons of threads that talk about this and give sites where you can find good deals and some give LHCF disounts.

I've had that Ion dryer for almost a year. I like it. I put it on my kitchen counter or an ironing board and pull up a chair.

Cool. I will look into that. Thanks.

I bought one from Wal-Mart a few years ago. It's pretty good. I think I paid $29.00 for it.

That was actually going to be my next question. Thanks for that info. I will see where I would be able to put it when I use it.
