Woweee! Congrats Allandra! I hope your transition is smooth, fun and enjoyable, we are with you. I remember seeing a pic of yours back in the day (in your siggy or avatar, can't remember which) showing the back of your head that was spiral curled and thick all the way down. Lovely!

I went on and changed my siggy yesterday to reflect my decision to transition. I knew someone would eventually see it. :giggle:

Thanks. I hope it's smooth, fun and enjoyable too. I remember that pic (a blast from the past - 2001). That's when I did roller sets more often, and that was a fun one too because it was spirals. Maybe I'll post it in my avatar for a little while today. I'm sure it's around here some where.

Well, that just goes to show how busy you've been with the new baby boy. :yep: We had a party one night (up in here). I think it was hosted by Whip. The avatar pic has been up for a little while now.

It will be a long time before I'm all natural. Needless to say, I will not be doing a big chop. No way. No how.
 
Hey Allandra. Newbie here and I am thinking about transitioning as well. (I'm only neck length and refuse to BC...lol:grin:) Congrats on your decision and hope the process will be smooth sailing for you!!!

well i'm sure it's lovely. good luck on your transition! Lord knows i didn't have the patience :look: so i admire all the women who can stick it out. i can't wait to see your progression! :grin:

the longest layer touches the top of my brastrap. the shortest is APL though, so now i'm on a quest to grow out the layers.

you will be there in no time... it only took me 3 years. :yep:

Thanks for the welcome and the comment on my name. I was named after my great grandmother, Amanda. I was born in the 80's therefore "La" was da thing!!!! Latoya, Lakesha, Latonya, LaManda......La, La, La:lachen:
 
Allandra, You are one of my favorite members. You always seem to find something positive or nice to say, which is what made me notice you.

I had no idea you were WL. I am sure your hair is very beautiful. Good luck on your transitioning journey.
