That's where I get my AO products, Giovanni, oils (coconut, almond, etc) and other yummy natural soaps and such. :nono: I always end up spending a cool $80 bucks in there, even if I have a list. I can't stay away from the prepared foods. Good luck to you, WF makes me sick.

Yes ma'am!!!! They have Giovanni, Aubrey Organics, Alba, Avalon Organics, Burt's Bee's and several others!!!

One is opening near I live this Spring. Should I be excited from a PJ standpoint?

you should be SCARED

they arent called WHOLE PAYCHECK for no reason

Impossible for me to go in there & just buy the 1 or 2 things I went in for...

Today I went for turkey bacon & Stevia but the PJ in me bought the 365 Mint conditioner & some Castor oil and some sausage and cereal... I spent about $40 which I considered a GOOD thing considering when I get to the vitamin aisle and then the shampoo & EOs aisle, I usually spend well over $100

Okay, I am officially scared, but delighted at the same time. I guess I can rationalize a bit by saying to myself "at least I won't have to pay shipping costs".

Ya, right. Ah the price of beauty.:giggle:

Yay! I love WholePaycheck...it's a budget breaker, but all the products are great and they practice trade with fairprofit companies (I know that is non-related to hair, but I think it's cool)...you will love it, your wallet, not so much...

Hi CG! If you are budget-minded, a good thing would be to go in there with a pre-paid cash card or a set amount of cash---and leave all other plastic at home :yep:

go there every week for snacks for my kids and satisfy my love of lotions and skin products...so addictive

oh you could get castor oil in a hispanic pharmacy or grocery waaay cheaper.

I got that brand as well. I love Whole Foods. I buy Aloe Vera from them, shower gel, and I LOVE Aubrey Organics GPB Conditioner.

Ah yes. I saw this at a local natural food spot. I think thats the one that said pregnant women should not use it. I think thats why I did not buy it. But now I know for later. Thanks.

I lived the life of a rich woman yesterday! Played hooky from work! Had car washed at a dry by hand car wash! Spent $119.00 at Whole(Paycheck) Foods

Purchased the Castor Oil, Two AO Conditioners-Honeysuckle Rose and Aloe and Desert Herb, Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Coconut oil, Giovanni Leave -In, three bunches of flowers, Pomegrante/Blueberry Juice, Pound of Tuna Salad, Two packs of Chicken!

I couldn't believe I got all that for $119.00...they must were having a sale:grin:

Really like the AO conditioners. That castor oil is very, very heavy. I think I will mix mine with the coconut oil which is much lighter. Use the Giovanni leave in for my rollerset tonight. I used sparinly, and rollerset came out straight and fluffly. Didn't use a setting lotion as I have done in the past with leave-in. Trying to eliminate some of the "VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY" of hair products.

I'm determined to win my PJ addition!

What ever you do, don't get a shopping cart! You'll be throwing items in there left and right. Seriously, I try to carry everything I need in my hand and if I must, I get the small hand held basket. But beware you can still do a lot of monetary damage with the small basket. :lachen:

You've been forewarned...now have fun shopping.

I agree make a list and bring only the cash you need....they are buliding one down the street from my house in adjacent to a TARGET and BEST BUY all next to a HOME DEPOT I can't see how i'll every keep money in my pocket!

I just ordered this from Vita-cost, too, along with GD Leave-in, a 54-oz jar of Nutiva organic coconut oil, some fenugreek extract, ACV, Chandrika soap plus a bunch of other stuff. Reg shipping only 5 bucks. Vita-cost is THE antidote to shopping at Whole Foods!

With all those stores, you are toast, sis!!!!!:drunk::lachen:

Yes! They have great products but are very pricey. They carry most of my staples from the Aubreys and Giovanni line and my carrier and essential oils.

However, now I try and plan ahead so that when my stash is getting low, I can order from vitacost.com. They only charge $5 to ship an entire box of products VERY QUICKLY and I save about 1/3 on all my natural and organic prducts. But for quick fixes, WHOLE FOODS it is

Have fun....there return policy makes it easy to experiment with new products!!!

ITA with the other ladies; have a list and don't bring the credit cards because you'll justify everything in your basket! That place is how I got started on coconut oil, but what a great find!

And how spoiled am I? I am going today to pick up some special ordered multi-vitamins that they don't sell in the store any more! (Country Life Daily One Total with iron, if anyone was interested - 90 ct capsules for $15.99)

I love that store, but SO and I refer to it as WholePaycheck :perplexed
great products....and food :)
