Anybody tried glovers for hair growth? It contains sulfur. I want some opinions before I try it out. I just ordered some BT. Any reviews?

I have used Glover's before with great results. It stinks though! I haven't used the other one though :nono:

Glovers has about 5% sulphur, which is definitely good. It's difficult for me to find here. But, I managed to get my hands on two containers.

It DOES stink. But, I mixed some essentail oils (tea trea, eucalyptus, lavender, & rosemary) and it helped with the smell, too. I also spray a mixed of water and rosemary/lavender oil on my hair after application to help with the smell. Then I seal with a mixture of castor and coconut oil.

Unfortunately, I haven't heen using it long enough to notice a difference (only a week or so). I do get that "itch"/"tingly" feeling whenever I use it. Sometimes I get the feeling the day after applying, so that's encouraging. It must be doing something. The only thing left to do is to wait and be patient.

I have, however, also order Boundless Tresses, and I might incorporate that into my regimen, depending on how the Glover's works for me. Right now, I'm testing products to see what does and does not work for my hair. I definitely wanted a sulphur-based product to assist with growth and overall hair health.

just curious, where do you find the percentage of sulfur listed? I don't see that.

My mother used to put Glovers Mane in my hair all the time when I was a little girl and I remember my hair being in the middle of my back at that time. I havent used Glovers Mane since I got older and started doing my own thing to my hair but I plan on using it again. It surely does smell but it is well worth it. I have been using BT on my hair for a few months now and yes, my hair is getting long but I cant say that BT is to blame solely for all of the growth, as take HF37 and a mix of other things for hair growth

I use the Glover's Medicated Ointment for Dandruff. The one with the blue top. On the side of the jar, under drug facts, it lists the active ingredients as 5% sulfur and 3% salicylic acid.

I just got my order of Boundless Tresses. I got the bottle with the fragrance. It smells wonderful. I can't wait to try it. Since it doesn't smell bad, I might use this a little more frequently than glovers, which I have to doctor up to the max in order to eliminate the smell.

As far as sulfur content is concerned I wonder which is better- BT or glovers??
Thanks Ladies!!

BT all the way!. My edges broke off really bad due to chemicals from my last two perms. And I put BT on my edges, I had a lil fro in the front within two weeks. While the rest of my hair is bone straight.
