I love big hur also and I can't wait until my hair get to that point, I'm another one with a big face, so flat hair doesn't work for me.
 
girl i was born in 1982... i am ALL about big hair... :grin:

even when i straighten my hair, i don't go for that pin-straight 90's look. nope. i need body! thankfully my hair is thick and that has never been a problem for me. :yep: sure some days i tone it down and have "less big" hair. but i don't mind being the center of attention i guess... i have no qualms about picking my hair out into a big fluffy fro and strutting down the street like i own the city. :lachen:

everyone has their preferences... don't feel bad about not wanting YOUR hair to be really big. now if you're saying you don't like my hair big... well them's fightin words...

My hair is really thick so I typically wear it pretty big and full. I really love body too.

Sometimes I like to switch it up though and wear it straight and sleek.
 
I loooooove big hair!!!! I have to keep my love of big hair under control somewhat because I don't want to come off as too dramatic, lol. I mean if I'm just going to the mall or something I don't guess I need to look like Diana Ross, hee hee (although I'd like to:lachen:).

There's nothing wrong if you don't like it though. It's a personal preference and it may be something you will like at another point in your life. I know before I found hair boards I did everything in my power to make my hair not big.

ETA....this would make an interesting poll.
 
:heart: big hair! I like hair textured even if its straight it should have some body and movement to it...dunno why I can't think of anyone with flat hair I like- I think I look like a poodle with hair that's too slick so more power to texture for me
 
Oh yes, I love me some big hair. Chaka, Diana, Angela, Williams wife from "Girlfriends", hallelujah!

I'm a pretty tall girl, and my head looks too small with little, flat hair. But with big hair, can't nobody tell me nuffin!
 
75%-NOOOOO!
25%-Yesssssssssssssssssssssss especially during the summer. When I wear my hair blown-out after several weeks post, people can't tell I have a relaxer. I look like Rudy Huxtable, and people either stare or give me mad compliments. (BTW, my hair is longer than what it is in my avatar now, so the blow out looks great!!!)
 
I looove big hair. I was born with it so it really grew on me. lol
I remember when I used to wish my hair was flat.
 
I love big hair, thats why I was addictive to weaves for soooo long. Its taken a lot for me to get use to my own non-big hair.:perplexed

No i dont like big hair on me because mine is thick and i HATE when it has too much volume after i flat iron it, and that usually happens when i blow dry. So i airdry 95% of the time which makes my hair look thinner, and healthier!
 
depends what you mean by "big" i wont go any bigger than the hair in my siggy, to me thats big enough.
 
I'm not sure I really have a choice. The more you fight your hair's natural tendancies, the more unhappy you and your hair are likely to be. Though I do agree that I'm not comfortable in public with supa-big hair b/c of the attention, but deep down inside I :love: it.

If I didn't work in a corporate environment - like if I was an artist, or fashion designer, or a journalist even - I wouldn't bother trying to tame the bigness. I'd keep it looking cute, but in those fields I don't feel as though my hair would be an unwelcome distraction the way it would be now.

On some occasions, I go for a small head, but overall, I love and prefer big hair. And since my hair is naturally thin, staying natural is the only way for me to have big hair.
