How much do you pay for the Spectrum, Organic Virgin C.O. at Wholefoods or wherever you buy it?

I saw coconut oil at the Indian store, but I thought this board recommended the unrefined and virgin c.o.?

Does it matter whether it is organic, virgin or not?

I paided 7.99 for Spectrum at a wholesale grocery store and 8.99 for it at a health food store. I would do a yahoo local search for Health food stores in your local area and call them for prices. local.yahoo.com

Many people on the board pefer using virgin/unrefined (plus the virgin/unrefined has a coconut sweet smell) which I love!!!! The refined didn't smell like coconut at all. I believe that is why they love it more.

Unrefined oils are richer in nutrients and has more healing a protective benefits.
