I transitioned for about 8 months then I did the bc. Thankfully it has grown super fast. I started my transition in Oct. of 2006 so this is now 16 months of natural hair. I measured today and the bottom layer is pretty much apl!! I'm really excited

Congrats! I remember how AMAZING it felt to do something like a ponytail after I BCd. I definitely appreciate ponytails a lot more than i did in the past.
