Currently Im on the no poo, low mani regimen.

I prepoo with oil, unless Im doing a sugar scrub, cowash, dc once a week (I want to start dc'ing 2x a week), and rollerset.

During the week I finger comb and pincurl at night and finger comb my hair into a bun in the morning and thats it!!!

I have my staple products that I use and try to keep my experimenting to a minimal!

cool im sure your hair is going to shoot out of your head because you have a simple regime

:lachen: :lachen: My regi is a book!! I'm on the low-mani, protective, Ayurvedic path.....

I scalp massage 2x week with amla oil, I wash once a week with shikakai and amla, I DC weekly, I detangle every other week, and I henna every six weeks - that's the short version. I tend to add/edit/delete a lil bit of this and a lil bit of that, depending on what I feel like doing... the only thing I stick to religiously is the protective bit.

My regimen is simple:
Wash Sunday and Wednesday
DC for 30 min moisturizing cond
CW with Suave Humectress
oil rinse with amla oil
John Frieda Anti-frizz
Giovanni leave-in

Protein as necessary maybe 12x per month
clarify as necessary - Suave Clarifying poo

Chelate as necessary - I love ORS Creamy Aloe Poo

Airdry
then twist into Bantu knots or Flexirod set

I wash and Dc once a week
Moisturize and seal at least once a day
Massage my scalp with essential oils every night
Relax every 10- 12 weeks
Eat well
And I dont use direct heat at all

The ayurvedic reggie's look tempting though.

This is my new reg...

Once a week I use Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cond. as a pre-poo/dc, rinse then apply Elsta QP's Recovery and seal with coconut oil. I airdry with my hair parted down the middle and a flexi-rod on each side. I moisturize at night with Recovery and seal with coconut oil. I relax every 12 weeks with Elasta's lye relaxer.

My current regimen is VERY simple:
*Wash & DC once per week (KeraCare or UBH).
*Rollerset after each wash, and pincurl at night to maintain the curls.
*Moisturize daily & oil 3-4 times per week with WGHO.

Right now
I pre poo with olive oil for each wash
Wash 1-2 times week
DC with heat each wash
Moisturise and seal, airdry
It's been working for me so far but I tweak when I have to.

I moisturize my ends daily and my hair when needed.

CW and DCwhen I feel my hair needs to be. (can vary from once a week or even longer)

Clarify when needed with Baking soda ( 1 a month or even longer)

Protective styling (twist outs, puffs, fros, and I have just discovered bantu knots are great. The bantu knots keep your ends tuck away when hair is not out)

Sunday - Pre-poo with shikakai and amla oils, wash with shikakai and amla powder rinse, DC, then air dry.

Tuesday
Co-wash, air dry.

Thursday
Co-wash with shikaki and amla powder rinse, air dry.

Apply BT on days I don't co-wash.
Moisturize and seal everyday.

Your progress pictures are really nice.

Here's my regimen, which is simple since I don't do my hair.

1) I go to the salon every other Saturday.
2) Wash and deep condition with Verifen Complex Beneficial Phase Shampoo and Advanced Conditioning Treatment
3) Hair is detangled with Verifen Complex Detangler
4) Hair Oil is applied
5) Hair is pressed and hot curled with Constant Care for Ends and Hairline Essential Cream

:dance7:

I have a second set of products--which are as follows (but the same technique is applied):

1) Cream of Nature shampoo (moisturizing/detangler)
2) Motions Moisture Plus conditioner
3) Infusium 23 (leave in treatment aka Repairology used as a detangler)
4) Hairobics detangling/hair oils
5) TCB or Softee Indian Hemp pomades.

my current reggie is fabulous! It took years but i've got it down! With this reggie I'm seeing hella growth & I'm not on any magic pills/powders/serums...

  • i WASH my hair every other day(or more) with CON poo followed by Suave Humectant Condish
  • i COWASH on nonwash days unless i wake up too late or am too lazy in which case I put it into a second day puff- which I will be adding a picture of this afternoon
  • at night I apply more Suave and Baggy in a high (loose) puff just in case i decide to skip the shower in the am
  • if i for some reason I shower at night I wash or cowash and put it in a low Ice Tee braid and sleep with it like that... it should be dry by morning with some nice waves- if not i bun it
  • I DC about once (sometimes twice if i'm in the mood) a week overnight with Lustrasilk Cholesterol
  • I apply Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In everyday to wet hair (warning: this causes major product buildup but I wash freqently so I'm good)
But all-in-all i'm seeing excellent growth from the frequent washes

Relax every 12 weeks (already do this)

Sulfate free poo (CON), Shampoo Bar and recently implementing Aritha Rinse.

K.I.S.S.

* low manipulation (only combing/detanging once every 1-2 weeks)
* moisture dc dry hair w/ heat three/week
* henna/indigo once/month
* scalp massages daily
* monthly baking soda washes
* growth aids (they helped me a bunch my first year. my hair barely grew during my second year, but it did thicken up a LOT so I'm pleased)

-Stretch for 12 or more weeks
-Dc three times a week (I'm in the Deep Conditioning Challenge)
-Wash with sulfate free poo once a week
-Apply leave in and airdry in a bun
-Every day, apply more leave in and coconut oil on the ends and then back up in a bun

:)

My regime is pretty simple. I cw everyday in the mornings I use aubrey organics with giovanni mixed in and in the evenings I use a light cond. (avalon organics). I detangle while I'm in the shower and after I put my leave in on. I always oil my scalp with castor oil put in my leave in (daytime - afro detangler... nighttime - giovanni direct leave in) and put some castor oil on my ends to seal it all in. In the evenings I brush my hair up and put a little castor oil on my edges to thicken up and go to sleep with a sloppy pony lol. My hair is soft as hecks in the morning though:grin:. During the day, the only thing I change is however I decide to style my hair I use either aloe vera gel or a giovanni product to slick it back. wrap in a scarf and go do what i gots to do.:weird: I wash my hair the last day of every month.

Wash 1x a week
Shampoo with CON followed by 20 minute deep conditioning Pantene R/N. I rollerset using Humetress leave-in and CHI Silk Infusion serum.

Touch-up every 8-9 wks with Barry Fletcher Mild.
First wash after touch-up I clarify then do a protein treatment with DRC-28 to bring back as much curl as I can.

I am all about Ayurvedic
Well lets see here...
I wash every two weeks with my wash mix os Shikaiki, Alma, Aritha Powders. To wash i
Pre poo overnight with my oil mix of Alma,Vatika Coconut oil,Olive Oil,Sweet ALmond and Castor Oil
Then i massage my wash mix in( its a tea) and let it sit then wash it out using CandyC's Method.
I DC using Ors Replenish Pak and then air dry
I am trying to figure out what to do after air drying because i love the way it looks and feels after all those steps but once i rollerset it feels like crap. All oily and what, but that may be due to excess product use...
Supposedly I am relaxing every12weeks but I may not.....

Wash and Dc 1x per week
Co-wash 2-3 times per week
Air Dry w/ scarf method
Moisturize, Seal and Bun every morning
Baggy opposite Co-wash days
no heat (direct or indirect), minimal brushing, low mani until April 08
Phony Poney for special occasions!

My hair routine has been the same for the past 4-5 years.
-wash 1-2 times a week
-use aloe butter
-go to bed with 4 plaits and perm rods/vaseline on the ends
-touch ups every 4 months
-trim every 2 months
-maxiglide 1-2 times a month

That's pretty much it. Nothing's changed.
