11 Months later I am now at this:
I used Sedu to straighten - I was amazed at how it straightened the roots one swipe. It works better than my maxiglide. My ends did not straighten so well - don't know why.
My hair grows slower than the normal - less than .5" but I am encouraged to see that it is growing and I am able to retain something. I will leave it in peace for a while.[/FONT][/COLOR]

That is a lot of growth for 11 months. I am 9 months post and this is so encouraging to me to think that when I big chop I will have enough hair for a ponytail.............. maybe LOL 
!! Great work, your hair looks thick and healthy and I too am a great fan of the Sedu iron!!

. I wore it on and off in box braids until it got to about 2-3" then I stopped braiding with extensions because I realized the ends were getting trashy (the parts that were exposed through the braids) plus the braider was always trimming the exposed ends so it blends in with the braids. As a result, my hair seems to get shorter with braid extensions.
