I've been working on them for the past 2 days off and on. Altogether it took like 12-13 hours. I used Janet Collection Super French Bulk hair in 22 inches. It's a Wet N Wavy hair. I just braided them down past my hair and left the rest loose. They turned out decent considering this was my first attempt. I've never had micro braids before. I was always too chicken they were gonna pull my hair out. I'm pleased overall though. Now I just need to figure out what to do with those fuzzy edges. :look:

Oh yeah ignore the bad lighting in my bathroom and my pjs lol

Looks pretty decent for a first time attempt. The pic when you hold it up in a high ponytail looks cute

Are you sure it's your first time? Very well done! I am particularly impressed by your partings. If I didn't know better, I'd swear you plucked your head off and put it on your lap so you'd get the partings so neat! :notworthy

Thanks ladies! I only really parted the ones in the front. The rest I just grabbed and braided.

Very pretty! Doing it yourself is a great way to make sure it's not too tight.
I'd love to try this but it'd take me 2 weeks.

Great outcome for a first attempt:) Did you tie a small knot at the end to keep them from unraveling?

Great job hun- they look really good. Esp for your first attempt. It's so cool that you don't have to depend on anyone for braids now!

My only question is how did you do them with your nails?:spinning: This is what is stopping me from attempting them because there is no way I am able to grip them. I've tried.
