Your braids are beautiful!!! You might need to make this a side hustle, girlie!!
Yeah, sectioning not only helps me notice the progress I'm making but also helps me gauge how well I'm using the extension hair and that I won't run out before I'm done. I usually part in diamond shapes so I first part the whole head into 4 by creating two diagonal parts. Then I put the front and side sections into 3 square plaits so I can focus on the back. I also part the extension hair into sections. While this is also helpful in making sure you don't run out of hair, I do it more importantly in order to avoid wasting the extension. I find that pulling the hair I'm going to use from a smaller bunch than from the entire bunch leads to very little tangling and hence hardly any wasted hair.
oh.

How in the world did you do that!?!?! OMG that's amazing. I am so lazy but I wish I could learn. that is simply fantastic!
Fabulous! How did you do it?!
I think they look great. Seriously, I doubt the people at the shop could have done them much better. You saved yourself a lot of money. Wish I could do my own hair like that.
Those look so professional
You know you rocking them too!!
Sooooo, how are you getting them to stay w/o the glue?
I can't do micros in my own big *** head anymore
No patience whatsoever...
glamazon386 said:Very nice!! I'm halfway through my own head of micro braids. Hopefully I'll finish them today
how long did it take you to finish?Well...
1. Parted my hair in 4 sections
2. Worked on each section at a time making small parts and adding in the braiding hair with my own (took the human hair wrapped it around the piece of my hair, taking a lil of the braiding hair and putting it with my real hair, so all 3 parts to the plait had braiding hair in them. I find that doing it this way ensures a tighter grip. Then commenced to plaiting down about 4-5 inches. )
3. For the back, I used 2 mirrors so I could see what I was doing clearly
That's basically it!
how long did it take you to finish?
Man they look professional! You really got some skills girl!!!
