They look great to me  I think you should start your own braiding business
Hey thanks guys!! And I've never really done anyone else's hair, so I'm a lil nervous about that but I would be more than willing to start! I think I may jus have to kick start this as my side hustle!

TowsonGirl...seriously...

I live in DC, and I will drive out there when I need braids this spring or summer. I have laid off the braids in the last couple of years due to the braiding shop's technique breaking my hairline:nono:, but they really are so convenient and pretty. You should totally start doing other people's hair:yep:

Well...

1. Parted my hair in 4 sections
2. Worked on each section at a time making small parts and adding in the braiding hair with my own (took the human hair wrapped it around the piece of my hair, taking a lil of the braiding hair and putting it with my real hair, so all 3 parts to the plait had braiding hair in them. I find that doing it this way ensures a tighter grip. Then commenced to plaiting down about 4-5 inches. )
3. For the back, I used 2 mirrors so I could see what I was doing clearly

That's basically it!

You did a good job.

How did you know ho wmuch hair to use? Your braids match the your part size.

I pretty much guestimated. It was trial and error til I found the amount that I thought looked the best, and just went from there and used that amount for each braid.

Claps & snaps for you.

Now you can start charging other people and make a little extra cheddar on the side.

Perfect! They look absolutely perfect! It looks like I did them...lol. I used to braid my own hair too, and since I was like 15 I was able to do my hair that good. I also used to braid other people's hair, but they didn't wanna pay my prices; so I had to stop (and one lady wanted me to do her whole family's hair, that was just too much). I charged cheaper than the Africans, but more than your sister's friend's niece...lol. That used to be my hustle even while I was working full-time and going to school! You can do that as a hustle too (especially being a college student). Just don't charge too cheap. :nono: It's too much work; it's a lot of time and energy being invested.

Again, they look beautiful. You'll enjoy them. Especially when you do your touch-up in the front after a few weeks, and you'll look like you've had your whole head done over; especially in a ponytail. :yep:

Girl I used to braid for a living in college..You making me wanna get a bag of hair and go to work. I've been too lazy to do micros since I passed shoulder length...Nice Work!!

I'm so jealous, I wish I could put braids in with human hair, eveytime I try I end up wasting a butt load of hair, You really did do a fabulous job, hmm off to PM you hope you don't mind
