My hair is screaming for a DC and I'm out of my
Dominican stuff and I DO NOT WANT TO USE MAYO...
what's a good DC sold at drugstore???

In "drugstores", I'm having good results from ORS Hair Mayonnaise (or did you mean you didn't want to use mayo anything?)

and
Motions CPR Treatment

Aren't these more protein based than moisture based conditioners? I've only used the ORS Hair Mayo (didn't work too well for me), so I'm just curious.

At CVS ---
John Frieda's Radient Red magnifying conditioner
ORS Packs

Plus they have Nexxus and a whole lotta other brands you might like--their upgrading alittle it seems

I just stopped by my local Duane Reade and they have definitely stepped up the Ethnic Hair Care Section, it was partially hidden by a pillar, but it was there. Tons of ORS products and quite a few Dominican Products. I just picked up some Miss Key 10 en 1. So don't sleep on your regular drug stores, you might me surprised.

WTF? Dominican products in Duane Reade?
Girl, that's only because you're in the Bronx.:lachen:

*dances out the thread singing, "I'm still Jenny from the block."

ETA:Oh and my answer to the thread is ORS packs.

Girl, I found the products in the Duane Reade on 28th & PAS, right down the block from all of the Indian spots. Perhaps this is just a big hair care area.

I use CPR after every shampoo and my hair loves it..I just don't leave it on for more than 5 minutes nor do I apply it with heat..just in the shower.

I use Luster's Pink RevitaLEX Conditioner under my heat cap for about 20 minutes. It makes my hair very moisturized and soft.

I've tried Motions CPR it was aiight but it has mineral oil & I'm trying to stay away from that.

I've tried ORS OLIVE OIL... it's aiight too but it's like $11.00 and I DC twice a week...I use a whole jar each time (that's a bit pricey: $80/month) those little packets wouldn't do a thing for me... they should sell them in jars... i have a whole lotta hair and if I bought the whole box of packets that still wouldn't be enough...

BIOINFUSION Olive Oil deep conditioner... it was on sale $6 at WALGREENS... directions say leave on for 45 mins but I do that anyway... I'll let ya'll know how that goes

They sell it in a big bottle now

Have you tried Pantene R/N breakage defense hair conditioning mask? It gave me great slip and made my hair nice and soft too.

ORS Conditioner in the bottle and Aussie 3-Minute Miracle (original formula in the white bottle)

Soo is the one in the purple bottle with white cap not good?? Isn't it the same? Because that's what I've seen around and I wasn't gonna buy it cause I wasn't sure that was it. If somebody could fill me in that would be awesome-muchas gracias! :)

For the price. . .Lustrasilk Shea Butter cholesterol with Mango (abo $2.50 and is moisture only) and Lekair Cholesterol (about $1.80 and is almost a mild protein for my hair)

CPR is only for damaged hair. I wouldn't use this on a regular basis bc of the protein. ORS Paks are good. I'm using Fantasia's Deep Conditioner right now and I like it.

are you talking about this one?

lucky you my hair thinks it's disgusting. It has the texture of a body creme doesn't feel like its penetrating my hair at all!

I heard a lot of good reviews about the pantene time renewal mask though that's the one I want to try after I finish my other stuff.
