What Do YOU Like About Coconut Oil?

I'm such a coconut oil fan. I use this stuff from head to toe. I mix it with all of my ayurvedic oils and apply to my scalp and hair. The best by far is the unrefined EV Nutiva brand. It smells sooo divine. I use it primarily as a sealant or as an overnight prepoo. I just reordered 2 of the 54oz tubs and am already halfway through one mainly because the whole family is using it. It's particularly great in the shower before your final rinse(kinda like oil rinsing for your body) Major softness. Did I stress that I LOVE coconut oil???!!!!

That smell is fab! It makes my hair feel soft and I love that its a light, but penetrating oil.

From Indain Store.....But u can find unrefined coconut oil at health food stores..

I like the smell, the shine, and they way it leaves my hair feeling so soft. Whenever I put it in then go outside, my hair gets rock hard (because its so cold) but when Im back inside its right back soft!

Coconut oil works best for me as a oil rinse and sealing my ends.

I like that its the first ingredient in many of my favorite products. My hair doesnt like a direct application of it. IDK why.
