ITA, if not it looks lumpy. Lumpy wraps are not sexy LOLThey come out best on freshly relaxed hair. It isn't going to get all the way flat with new growth. You'll still have to straighten the roots.
I do the wet wrap with saran wrap. I find for my new growth is to oil my new growth. I use castor oil, olive oil, cococunt oil and vitmin e oil. I massage my scalp and leave on for about 15 min, then rinse well use my wrap lotion and wrap sit under the dry for about 5-10 mins depending on hair length then I saran wrap and sit for about 15-20 min. MY hair has come out smooth and shiney. I have tried this 3 times and it has worked every time. The oils loosen my curl pattern of new growth and make it more managable.
