First off I'm in no way laughing at you but the way you worded this post just cracks me up!! LOL:lachen:

But in answer to your question, yup I've had those days during my relaxer era, but I go one step further than you did and be all up cussing and chit at my darn hair when it won't do what I want it to do before I felt like relaxing it. But back then I've flat-ironed those new growths, in those areas, and then proceeded to do a dry rollerset(same as wet rollerset but on dry hair using lottabody to set the rollers). But I didn't have too many of those instances, but when I did, my flat-iron came to the rescue every time. Now this is NOT to say this is what you should do, but just letting you know what I did back in the day before I did the big chop. A flat-iron saved me one too many hair fiascos.

Now right now, I'm fighting different textures once again, I've got new growths + texturized ends and sometimes it's a battle to get it to do right and at times I feel like chopping off those ends NOW, so I can get it all over with and be done with it. But I'm trying to transition out as long as I can. Currently I don't use a flat-iron, curling iron(haven't in over 10 years now), nor a dryer for my hair. I just normally just do a wash and go, but have to do a lil primping on the texturized ends to try and make it as okay as it can be.

Now this is really the true definition of two different textures in your hair.

I don't think it's something you can change. Maybe perhaps take some Flaxseed Oil capsules. Maybe they will help soften in your new growth in the coarser part of your hair.

:lachen: i just dont know. I proud of it though it coming along. If the textures could just get along . Oh well i guess this is just my hair
