That's a weave. One thing I know I am good at is clocking a weave. And its a dead give-away!!! Most stylists have no idea how to cut a weave. That is the difference between $200-600+.
(in a testimonial, if they don't show that new growth, its hella fake!!!)

hey, with those hair growth vit, don't they make ALL your hair grow? :grin:I hear some women end up with hairier (sp) upper lips and bushier eye brows.

Do they all look like weaves or just the first one?

Yeah the first one and even second one, I am not so sure about but the others yeah its a weave, what a shame. 85.00 dollars right? Even if I was crazy about growning hair I don't think I would spend that much

I do love her hair:blush:.....weave or no weave...Did anyone think her's were fake too?:look:

Here's her starting pic

Just a thought:yep:

they all look like weaves to me. especially that second one. it looks like they took those b4 and after pics in the same day:lachen:..she never even changed her lipstick color.

but i really don't believe any of them. the top half of the hair looks thin/fine and then it gradually gets really thicker and darker with very blunt cut ends. not that it couldn't happen in real life...but all of them have that same inconsistency to me:ohwell:hmmmmm suspect!

Dang Poochie! Lol at the bold:lachen:I didn't even notice the lipstick...:lachen:

I asked my nosy brother who was hovering over my shoulders. I asked him what he though and this is what he pointed out.....

vits.jpg
[/IMG]

The top is the original. Look at the circled patch of colored hair in the bottom pics. It's in the same spot at the "after" pic just combed down. Wouldn't it have qrown out with the rest of the hair:rolleyes::rolleyes: Who are they tryin to fool?:nono:

Although I do like the ingredients in the vits:look:

Oooh, I didn't notice that! Your brother is good! I don't think it's worth the money...

Looking at this pic and her after pic makes me wonder...She said she grew her hair long in 9 months. So she went from SL-BSL in 9 months!?! It could happen, but I don't know if it happened to her:nono:

I get what your saying...It's just the front where her bangs are that looks funny and how the end is soo thick:spinning:...Nah I wouldn't waste my money on so "magic beans":nono:...

ALL YOU LADIES OUT THERE WHO ARE INVESTING IN THE OVER ALL HEALTH OF YOUR HAIR AND SPENDING BIG MONEY DOING SO LISTEN TO THIS!

aboit a month ago, my cousins daighter got a bad case of wring worm from one of the children at school. anyhow, no one knew that she had it because it was underneath all her braids. she went to play and she bumped her head on the floor while falling and the braid(the whole braid fell off) when we took the kid to the doctor, the doctor said that the germ had gone so completely through the hair follicle that it caused them to invert in on themselves and that the hair would never grow back. now since she is a girl and we did not want her walking around with a skin bald spot for the rest of her life, we got together and started researching what could be done if anything dispite what the doctor said. anyhow we came up on horizons after trying rosemary and sage and bergamot ect ect ect..... it was a lot more expenssive than the herbs we wer'e purchasing but we decided that if it truly did what it claimed that it was worth it. we did not expect a miricle but was hoping for some small change. to at least start the process and challenge of growing back this childs hair. when we got to the horizon site we ordered. my little cousins mom. got 3 products for her. we got vitamins, we got the emu oil, and the enzy block which we already knew was a type of dht blocker and wring worm has nothing to do with dht. again we were not expecting majic, but we were just hoping for some minute chage. and if there was none we knew not to blaime the makers of the product.
however after researching a little more we found out that the ppl at horizons hair products was doubling and in some cases on specific products almost trippling the cost for the same products that we saw elsewhere. we tried to contact someone at the company to stop the order, that we had made almost 2and a half weeks earlier with no word back from them. i asked the person i spoke to what was taking the order so long. the lady said she didnt see a record of my order. anyhow to make a long story short she told me she would check in the morning and if it hadnt been sent she would send it next thing in the morning. and that she would call me to tell me bfore she sent it. at that point i didnt want to tell her not to send it because i was unhappy with the prices because i figured she would try to pull an oh sorry mam i already sent it out. i figured i would wait tuntil she called me back like she said she would to tell me she was putting it in the post office for delivery so that i could tell her after she confirmed that she still had it that i was under no obligation to take it after all of that time had past and that i didnt want it. no such call ever came.i emailed trying to see why, and just like i thought they said sorry mam we dont offer a money back clause and we already sent it. i expressed that while every one has a right to make a living i just wanted my money back cause the product price was too high and the order was too delayed and it was a little disheartening that they would charge almost 50 dollars for 2 ounces of a liquid that i could buy a whole case for that price. the lady nastily told me that this is america and that it is a free capitalistic company and that they could charge what ever they wanted, and i was not gonna get anything back. the person i spoke to on the phone was apparently someone diffferent than who emailed me, because she didnt know or acted as if she didnt know what was said in the phone convo. i point blank said that i think this could be some kinda scam. because the lady on the phone was african with a deep acent. she kept on telling me that she just wanted to share with me what the products have done for her all though i never asked. it just rang familiar with the whole posting in the hair care forum in the first place remember the person who said she would feel like a horrible person if she didnt share what horizons had done for her was also african, and the wording was too similar in my mind to be coincidence. the emailer never responded to my alligation of scam and they never gave the money back.
i told them i would take it as a loss, but that word of mouth is a powerful tool and that i would not have anything good to say about thier practices. i never told anyone what happened. my cousin never said anything either. we just left it alone. until a couple of days ago. when low and behold a college of mine said he was going to get a hair transplant. i told him to tell me about what it was and how it went. he handed me a copy of something he had taken off of a mens hair transplant web site, and low and behold! whoooooooooooooooooo do i see front and center, but the same man that horizons hair care has plastered on thier website as someone who was supposedly helped by enzy block and emu oil. thing is though that he had a transplant and then i knew for sure that we had been played!
take a look your self!

i was so disturbed by this point i couldnt even tell my coworker what was wrong with me though he asked me several times.
i just feel like it's really low to purpose ly lie and misslead someone in order to take money from them. now granted there is no garauntee that the products would have worked for my little cousin and we knew that in the first place, but what is the matter is that we feel as if the intentional lying puts ppl in the position of not being able to weigh the weight of the facts properly, and in fact the swindler is making a discission for you ,that had you had the right unadulterated facts on your own . you could have made a discission that you could feel comfortable with. there is no comfortability in being scamed. i do not reccomend any one buy from horizons. if you want to buy vitamins buy them any place but there. they are far too deceitful to deserve our hard earned dollars.

Everyone was suspecting weaves & I was suspecting Photoshop. Y'all remember that thread where someone (Candy_C, I think) was playing around w/Photoshop adding hair to show what they would look like when they got to their goal length? Well, that's what these pics reminded me of.:ohwell:

THIS IS WHAT THESE CROOKS ARE DON TO MAKE A DOLLAR!!!!!!

Dang, Thanks for posting this TCT...I thought this company was suspect. I hope this thread keeps someone who was thinking about purchasing these products from doing so

They all look like weaves to me, especially when they start saying how long it took them to get to that length....

That is what I was thinking. But more power to them all.

Too bad they don't mention the hair care it takes to maintain all that "faster" growth they claim to have gotten.

:nono: Something ain't right! "6 inches in only 9 months", "12 inches in one year" just taking vitamins!:ohwell:

1)What the hell is in those things and 2) if it were true we would have known about them and been popping them long time ago!:lachen:

I guess I'm feeling desperate.... :perplexed when I saw the vites were only $24 for a one month supply, I was tempted to order them... I probably have everything that's in those vites around here already. I need to just take what I have.

I wasn't going to do this, but I don't want anyone on this board fooled into buying this fake junk. All of the pictures look like they are the same distorted resolution. It's very unlikely that all of their customers took pictures and saved them with the same exact distorted resolution. Photoshop or another editing software is the culprit here. And I say that because of the shading and shadows of the after pictures. It looks like all the pictures were saved at a very low resolution to throw the average person off, but a trained eye will catch the inconsistencies.

shadows.jpg

All of the pictures above have the exact same shadowing where manipulations were made.
offpixels.jpg

The woman in the first pic has her dyed hair in the exact same spot as her before pic. Suspect!!!! The second pic has two distinct and different colors when I slightly magnified it and the pixel resolution was not the same in the outlined area.
shadowsandendscopy.jpg

The ends look as if a precision brush was used when you magnify all of the above pictures. And the areas outlined in green also show significant differences when magnified too.

DON'T FALL VICTIM TO THESE MAGIC BEANS!!!
