:realitycheck: :woohoo:
... So I will have to find out what it like or dislikes and call it a day...
)I like to read the reviews of certain products, but have not jumped on any bandwagons I guess. I need to find what works for me and my hair, so IMO if something works for me and someone else, I wouldn't say I was jumping on a bandwagon; just using what worked for me as well. Heck, my budget won't allow me to jump on some bandwagons!
)and one for my future daughter
OT- I purchased 2 of that book in your avatar: one for my 6 year old cousin (who's mother just relaxed her hair)and one for my future daughter

If I had a daughter I would do so as well - great book!
Some other good ones are "Nappy Hair"and "An Enchanted Hair Tale"![]()

I have saved a lot of money in 07 for not jumping on bandwagons. When I first joined, I flushed a lot of money down the toilet and lost a lot of hair jumping on every bandwagon.I now have my staples and until they stop working nothing is going to change.
. I have finally figured out what works for me, still need a bit more tweaking as I am prepping to start doing longer stretches. I contemplated for like 2 sec that Aryuvedic (?) fever that is starting to grip the board, but after seeing how much energy is involoved, not mention all the time mixing and rinsing and what not...nope no thanks, but good luck to those people. I might re-think it though when more people start posting their results!!!If I had a daughter I would do so as well - great book!

My mother bought me this book when I was like - 22! because she said it's the only book that ever perfectly described my hair - it's a really good book.
. If you are a bandwaggoner who jumps on without research, just be careful. Cause life is like a box of chocolates....some are good, some are ok and some are just nasty.
I think most of us are going to try whatever is getting people the fastest results. And I am willing to bet that most of the "naw, I'm not on bandwagons anymore" or "my regimen is set" started off on at least 1 or 2 bandwagons.

And I'm saying, your on the bangwagon of the nonbandwagoners. This is a bandwagon. I thought it to be true. It's like a little circle that goes around and round. Like the song that never ends.
Who here is through with:
challenges? New/old product raves?
Anyone else no longer gets excited about products that have worked for some or many? When you see these threads, do you go 'oh, that sounds nice! Next...'
I wanted to see if you were making sense and you don't.
Are we trying new products here even though we already have some that work for us?
Doing new methods we heard about in a thread that worked for someone else?
I didn't think so. I'm pretty sure we're the ones who do what works for us (which varies per person) and not what works for someone else. That is kind of sour to step into a thread and try to turn it into something nasty... like you felt guilty about being a bandwagon person and wanted us to feel the same way about not... That is like telling someone who doesn't give into negative peer pressure and follows their instincts that they're just as bad as someone who follows the masses. No one said jumping on bandwagons was bad, we the OP was just asking if there were others out there who didn't feel they had to anymore.
.There was no reason for that. Let's be nice, my sweet sister :Rose:.

Hello,
I was not trying to be rude or step into a thread to start something. I don't even see how what I typed could be taken as rude. I was just putting my opinion like I am entitled to. When I read the title, I just thought that wouldn't it be another bandwagon if there is a group of people who try this and those who don't. You don't know if I jump on bandwagons to say that. I don't feel negative or guilty about anything nor am I a bandwagon jumper. I just think you read what I said wrong.
It's like those who say they think out of the box, well don't you put yourself in another box with others who say they think outside the box. You just created your own box. If you don't understand then ok. No need for disrespect. -( I think I saw that on some movie, maybe it was the Great Debaters).
