I don't know how to make my pictures small enough to put in the threads. I didn't quite make it but that was expected. I am happy with the growth. If anyone knows how to post them I will gladly take the advice.

I did not make it. My relaxer was on Nov 29th and I did not take any pics. My hubby said that I have about 2 inches. I will post pics in Feb when I relax again to see where I'm at. However, it is APL when wet.

Ladies in the APL Challenge did you make it?? Lets go ahead and start are reveals. Post your pics IN THIS THREAD when you can. If you didn't make it (which I didn't ) don't be discouraged. It is attainable and you will get there, just keep up the healthy hair practices


One thing I learned the hard way is that if you trim your hair on a regular basis you will not attain length
This year I have snipped between 3-4 inches overall in the hopes of evening out my hair and to lose bad ends. As you can see, the snip to even out the hair made absolutely no difference.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN THIS YEAR?

I still have another 2 inches or so to go. Should be able to hit that in about 3-4 months

Congratulations ladies!!! ITA that no one has failed because I am sure that all of our heads have improved and benefited from all the extra attention and love. So be encouraged and press on if you haven't made it this round!

For myself I'm on the fence. I can't tell yet because I have lots of NG and will be relaxing for the New Year. But I swear my APs are falling seriously they seem so far away from my head, like they're even with my BS or something. Anyway, I'll be back in a few days with pics and we'll see. I think I may have a few strands touching but it won't be full. I think I'll trim it up a bit and keep on keeping on. APL will be mine in 08!!!

and at (Dec 8th) - Just about touching and it is just the lower section, however I love layers so it is cut that way

I took another one this week, but I forgot my usb at home (I am at my parents for christmas) and that picture shows it perfectly.
(I will add it when I get back on the 3rd)

I am planning on a 1.5 inch trim for the new year, then I am on my way for BSL in Dec 08 (and any more is a bonus)

I will putting my self on a self 3 month bun challenge over the winter to help it on it's way.

Everyone made good progress. I'm a long ways from APL but, its okay because, I know in 08 it will happen. Blessings to all of you that made and those that didn't. Everyone met there goal though of having healthy hair so keep going you will do it one day!
