Indian Grocery Store; What Would You Buy?

What items would you ladies get? The last time I went I only picked up coconut oil and a few other items. Right now I'm relaxed with 14 weeks of newgrowth. I'm having some shedding problems. It's not as bad as it was a few weeks ago when I posted but it's still there.

So what would you ladies suggest I pick up?

My next trip I plan to purchase a bottle of Amla Oil. Previous purchases I have bought:

Coconut Oil
Amla Powder
Almond Oil
Shikaiki (sp?) soap

Last time I hit up the Indian Grocery Store I snatched up some Dubar Amla Oil and Almond Oil.
 
amla powder- staples for the past 3 months
brahmi powder- staples for the past 3 months
amla oil- staples for the past 7yrs
others to try is
aritha- to try as cleanser instead of poo
cassia
vatika- new one with olive oil.
 
Okay ladies, I have a few questions:

D, how are you using the Amla Oil?

imstush, how are you using the mustard oil?

amwcah, how are you using the shikakai (sp?) soap and almond oil?

Or can anyone answer these questions? Thaaaaanks!

I use the amla as a prepoo before I wash.

sorry just getting back to this thread. I mixed the mustard oil with some coconut oil, Indian Castor Oil and another oil that I purchased (I will come back with the name), and I have been oiling my scalp with it. The Indian lady told me to put the mustard oil on the actual lengths of my hair and sit with it for about 1-2 hours and then rinse out. She said it's very good for split ends and dry hair. I will do that this weekend.

Will but Shikakai Powder, Amla Powder,Aritha Powder, Brahimi, and Neem powders. Coconut oil I can get in any Caribbean themed store .It seems that all the Indian stores I go to have the HESH brand. If I can find it I'll also get Hibiscus Petal powder. Im still waiting for my FNWL order of Hibiscus powder. I want to make an Ayurvedic Hair spritz for my twists. The products in my spritz have no ayurvedic properties. I know I saw a recipe for it in the AAA challenge thread.

This sounds good. I already have a mixture of castor oil and BT that I've been slacking on. Maybe I'll mix the mustard and almond oil and get it crackin. How long have you been doing this for and have you noticed any difference in your hair?

What exactly is this stuff??? I skimmed over Candy C's review but I didn't actually read it. Maybe I'll do that this weekend. Why do you love it so much and what are the benefits? Never mind I'll check the AAA thread.

I'm going to pick up some mustard oil next weekend. Rachique said she uses that also.

For those who who get Vatika Oil, I give you nothing but props...I never get up enough nerve to get it
