baby cockroach in my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so im putting away grocrries into the frige,,, im highly shaken up now,,so dont mind m y typing pleaze,,, and i see a baby roach( we live in nyc , roach capitol) with my side vision crawling on the back of my shoulder on my top and i have a sloppy low bun with lots of nape hairs hangind down,, i tell my brother"therea roach on me!!! please get it off get it off me,, and he tries to and tell me its in youir hair and he nort being spiteful and he made a grab for it and it dissapeared and im really freaked now,, it might wel be lost in my hair,,,,, im gonna go wash it otu tjoroughly,, no ways i can rest with the possiblity of that in my hair,,,, damn this,,, i was gonna was till friday:nono::perplexed
 
I am sorry to hear that i understand how u feel.let us know the outcome, Bugs YUCK.
 
Wow that would truly make me upset. To have any living thing crawl up in my scalp...give me the heebee geebees.:nono::nono::nono: Hope you find it, you probably want to part the hair first before you get in the shower and have your brother help you look for it. Otherwise, you may end up (not be really graphic and gross) smashing it and have pieces of roach..well you get the picture. Good luck
 
Well, you're stronger than I am. I'm pretty sure that I would not have been able to sit and type, well.. not with all of the screaming and jumping around that I'd be doing. I'm a wimp and I know it.
 
The other day there was a spider in the shower while I was co washing and i threw some water on it and it disappeared. I was expecting to see it go down the drain but no lol I thought it was in my hair i was so scared...every ng curl i would feel felt like the spiders body and that creeped me out soo bad....i still dont even know if it was in my hair or not

Awwww, I'm sorry that happened to you. I know how violated you feel. I love NYC/Brooklyn----but I don't love the roaches or the rats.

Don't miss them at all....GRITS FO LIFE (sorrry shameless plug):lachen:
 
i kno the feelin: wen i'm outside walkin under trees: i always fear that a bug (spider) might fall in my hair and get all caught up in my new growth: ew: it makes me crindge just think bout it
 
Girl.....I have a tremendous fear of roaches and Georgia has a lot of them and they are BIG as hell. Our house is surrounded by forest and sometimes they get inside and oh my lord Jesus I freak all the way out. I am from the north and when I moved here I was not expecting all of these bugs everywhere and geico's and snakes. I totally feel your fear and disgust but hurry up and wash your hair because, not to totally freak you out, but they reproduce FAST and you don't want babies.:nono:

That is so gross and funny. But if your hair grows an inch overnight or something then everyone will putting baby roaches in their hair by this time next week. :grin:
 
OMG I would have fell out in the floor and started screaming. I did that once when a cicada was on me and my daddy laughed at me. :sad: I didn't know what it was and it scared me. It wouldn't get off my neck.

I was working this summer in Columbus, GA and the hotel I was staying at was one of those where the door to your room went outside. So I get up and get ready for work, get out the shower and saw one of them big *** "water bugs" which looked like a big roach to me. I jumped on the bed so fast and called the front desk and told the dude, "umm imma need for someone to come kill this thing!!" and the maintenance guy came and killed it and was like oh this aint nothin but a lil waterbug. WTF!?!?:nono: I'm from the north, we aint got them things!! LMAO. Also that same week I was outside on my break and some random lizard flew out of a tree and almost landed on me...needless to say I didn't go outside for my breaks lol.

....sorry for the hijack....:look:

...and it probably stopped, looked you up and down, bucked its shoulders like "WHAT YOU THINK YOU GONNA DO?", popped its collar, and pimped off moving like "That's what I thought."

OMG this happeed to me TOO!! i threw water on it and didnt see anything go down the drain WTH!!!
 
Yikes! :eek: I would've had a major fit. Try shaking your hair like Tina Turner way back in the day and see if that gets it out and follow it up w/ a good washing.
 
Oh hey guys LOL im back, believe it or not , i waited likt 2 hrs b4 washing my hair i totally relaxed about it,,,,,,, but it was JUST A BABY , it was only slightly larger than an ant ,,, i hope u werent imagining one of those BIG ONES, i mightve ended up in the insane asylum then!!!

I hope that you got it out of your hair. If you're uncertain, then sleep w/ some ear plugs, tissue or something in your ears b/c I wouldn't want that critter to crawl into your ear. :nono:
