i dont use oil
i've tried to use oils
but i find that my hair doesnt like them

so i finally gave up lol

castor/coconut mixture did me pretty good for a while
but then...i dunno. just wasnt feelin' it anymore.

and my hair definitely hates olive oil.
it seems to dry it out.

hey there rehab!

i'm not on a no-oil routine but i do try to avoid oiling. i just don't really like having oil on my hair or scalp - i have eczema and it just seems to make it worse. BUT, big but - i think i'm going to have to start adding a few drops after i wash my scalp and to my ends during the winter. it's my first winter natural so i'm still trialing and erroring :perplexed ALOT! (i'm re-eyeing a can of crisco to use on my ends)

Wintertime is starting to really play havoc on the scalp and i want to protect my ends; dry dandruff and itchy scalp probably caused by the colder air and artificial heating is nasty.

my scalp and hair receive plenty of natural oil in the warmer months and extra oiling just turns my head into a frying pan.

Are you strictly no oils? what are you suing instead? how's it going so far especially with it being wintertime?

Your hair is BEAUTIFUL! I want big hurrr so badly. I'm currently growing out my perm and can hardly wait until I have a gigantic puff to sport around.
