Hey everybody. This handy tool that I found today is made like a comb with holes at the top. It's supposed to be used for dye jobs, but I thought it would be great for oiling the scalp for my prepoos so I bought one. It can hold about four ounces of liquid. It was only $1.97 at Wal-mart and I just wanted to pass it along. Enjoy!

They stole my invention! I going to get one. I'll let yall know how I like it.

This would not work well fro those of us that like to massage the oil in.

But you could apply it with this tool and then just use your fingers in there to massage it. Still would not have to part it to get your massage on.

To answer your first question, I found it in Wal-Mart by the flat irons and rollersets in the "ethnic" part of the hair isle. It was hanging of the rack, you know how they have those hanging things and they layer the products down them?

I think it would def. work for the oil massagers, that's what I plan to use it for. I just think that it would make it easier to get more oil on the scalp.

And to everyone else, you're welcome! Literally the first thing that jumped into my head was, "I've got to post this on LHCF!"

You guys help me so much, I gotta give back sometimes, you know, lol!

Aww man I think I like that better than the pointy tip applicator bottle I got from Sallys. You can never have enough applicator bottles.

I like that because i hate parting my hair and oiling, and i hate putting oil on my hands and rubbing it on my hair----this seems much better because i could just squeeze alittle more and comb the rest down my hair. :look: Only $2!?!

I have this, but I use it to clean my scalp ( I have a sew-in with net) it makes it easier to get to my scalp through the net. I sometimes put SeaBreeze or shampoo and dilute with water to clean my scalp while in the shower. And I use it to scratch my scalp--it feels good. ( I made a thread about it a while back)

If you were to use this for oiling, be careful because a lot of oil would come out without you even sqeezing the bottle.

This would also be great for girls with long hair that wash in braids (a good scalp scrubber)

You can use it for so many things..coloring jobs, oiling, cleaning...a great --cheap--investment!:yep:

Thanks for this post. I just used it a few minutes ago for my pre-poo with oil and it was a-mazing!!!

I only squeezed a little and a good amount (but not too much oil) came out. It felt SOOO good on my scalp (especially since I'm 9 weeks post). I squeezed it as I moved it across a section of my hair...took all of 2 seconds for a good chunk of scalp to be oiled!

Instant moisture with minimal effort. This is def. a staple product.

Run to Wal-mart ladies!!!

hmmm...I wonder if this would work with henna to make sure u get it all thru the roots good?

Not famaliar with the texture of henna but if it's texture is similiar to the to that of hair dye (not too thick) then it should :yep:

ajoyfuljoy...now you got me thinking of other things I can use this for. I may have to buy more bottles though, the one I have is clogging :ohwell:... I've worn that sucka OUT!!:lachen:I use it soooooooo much.

I am glad to know they still sell these. I bought 6 of them this summer and I broke one. They are wonderful.

I just came back from Walmart today. They have jacked the price up to $3.94 each!:perplexed

Walmart's prices differ from state to state. I hope they haven't raised the price on them where I'm going....I paid about 3 for mine.

I looked for this at my local Walmart but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm sitting here wishing that I had one right now so...I think I'm just going to order it.
