Quick question for you: Does your hair tend to do better when it is pressed (with straightening comb) or flat ironed with a ceramic iron?

Actually she had to use both. My ends don't get straight so for the ends she used a flat iron. Neither were very hot though. I saw no smoke

I applied Oil Sheen in a Jar and she used a pressing comb all over and a flat iron (Ciolis or something) for my ends. They refuse to straighten.

O.K. thanks! I was wondering b/c I remember before I had a relaxer (and before ceramic flat irons - or any flat irons for that matter - were out), my mom and my grandmother used to straighten my hair with a straightening comb.

I was in H.S. so I just wore it in a ponytail. My mom would lightly press and it was still bouncy (if I wore curls), but my grandmother would press it "hard", which I really liked since I wore it in a ponytail and it really stretched it out.

Just wondering which route i will take once I am fully natural.
