So I just joing yesterday and I want to know where/how should I begin? I just had my ends trimmed about two weeks ago. Any help would be great!!! Thanks ladies:perplexed

Welcome! The basics would include not relaxing too often, not using too much heat, using a moisturizing shampoo, deep conditioning often, and focusing on retaining growth by moisturizing and sealing the ends often and protecting them when possible.

Some people dont like protective styles (myself included), so I at least wear them around the house and usually Ill let my hair down if Im going out for some reason, and put it back up when Im finished doing whatever.

What is your current regimen?

Give us some backround.

Hair Type?

Texture?

Relaxed? Colored? or Non relaxed or "natural"

Current Regimine?

Length?

Goals?

I have relaxed hair...I don't know the type...where do I figure that out [sorry]
I get touch up about every three months
In the past couple of months I started see a dominican stylist and I try to wash it at least every two weeks..I work out like three days a week
My lenght is shoulder lenght but I would like to have bra strap by next summer

healthy hair starts on the inside. i need to take my own advice though:ohwell: but anyway, when you eat well your provide your body with the nutrients for stronger, shinier, healthier hair. and you wont need to rely on external treatments as much to keep your hair strong.

and don't forget to take care of the scalp too by massaging it. but you can get the same circulation by exercising.

now as far a the outside, i agree with what leslie said. and make sure you don't overlap your relaxers. cuz that can ruin ALL your progress:ohwell:

:welcome: You'll find everything you need to know right here.
The first thing to do, is find what works for you. It may take some time to find a regi (still working on mine), but once you find out what works, that's half the battle. Start w/ washing your hair with a moisturizing poo (once a week), and find a good conditioner. DC'ing regulary will help alot.
Good Luck!
