I like using shikakai and alma tea rinses instead of the paste. You don't have dust bunnies :lachen: that way.

ITA Sareca the teas are waaaaaaay better.

The only time I use the paste of these powders now is when I mix them with henna.

I am going to try a Alma rinse tonight. Maybe it can help with my scalp issues. Should I do it before conditioning or after?

Having a scalp issue was the main reason i got the powders and oils (way back when i post out having the itchies) it was either that or monistat anywho.

What does adding the egg do?

Did the powders help your scalp? My scalp either behaves or acts BUCK wild. Henna helps my scalp when I do it but after my last henna :nono::nono::nono:

I was hoping that giving the powders a go will help my scalp.

^^^ Gymfreak I don't no yet i've only did 1 tea rinse.

but trust i'll no if those patches come back lol
something has to give. Acv rinses did work but for some reason i kept feeling lumps on my scalp but not seeing them.

I'll no if the disappear

ACV works a little for me too. I just don't know what is going on with my scalp. Maybe it just doesn't like shampoo period. After 3 days, my scalp is begging to be washed. I don't want to wash tonight but I need to because my scalp is KILLING me.

^^^ See that's why i had to slow down with the shampoo. I don't no what the deal was but it started way back last year when i did my first C&G braids. The conditioner exactly made my scalp hot.
It was like i was not getting all the shampoo off my scalp after those braids.
Something started it though.

I am going to try diluting my shampoo more. I am going to try the alma tonight too. I also think my scalp issues have to do with me noting well these past two months. :wallbash: I am going to change my diet and regime and report back in a month.

Gymfreak, Neem and Tulsi powders are antifungal and antibacterial. They are great for the scalp. I use them in my herbal teas as well. HTH.

Thanks for the link. I asked in the other thread but didn't get an answer. I know I used way too much but was lost on what the correct method would be.
