Does anyone remember that old thread about people mixing the two step Aphogee with Emergencee? Does anyone else still do this? I get pretty good results from doing this, it's easier to apply, and is less smelly. I was just wondering if there could be anything wrong with doing this, although I haven't suffered any adverse effects. Oh and if anyone could find that old thread that'd be awesome!

uhh you just mix the two together and then what?:perplexed I never heard of this but will be trying in the future:grin:

Oh, I mix the two together in my hands then you just get under the dryer until it's hard, rinse/ shampoo out, then deep condition. It basically makes the aphogee easier to apply and gives you a good heavy protein treatment. It works for me.

thanks i'm gonna try this...It def. helps with the darn stuff(Aphogee) running down my neck:wallbash:

Thanks

I mix Aphogee w/Emergencia *dont know if Emergencia is similar to Emergencee* w/great results. Sometimes... I add Alma oil and honey to my mixture as well.

ETA: I mix the Aphogee deep... not the 2min recon.

I made a thread a while ago about mixing ApHOGEE Treatment for Damaged Hair and Nexxus Emergencee because ApHOGEE stinks SO bad and it was great--VERY STRONG HAIR.

Would you mind posting the link? I am interested in trying this & want very strong hair too! I don't really like the hard aphogee by itself & need to use it up. Thx!

I am searching in the archives right now :)

I know I didn't have a special ratio; I just hated the way Aphogee smelled so I "cut" it with a similar product and I remember tugging my hair and how "strong" it felt, sturdy, not mushy at all, and no hair loss(normally I loss strands on wash day because I don't comb my hair on a regular, just finger comb to seperate and a K-Cutter to gently detangle)
