You can use it after each wash if you want. I use it after shampooing for a couple of minutes before I deep condition.

You can use it as often as you like or need. It's just a conditioner.

Just use it once and see how your hair takes to it.

I don't like using it as a final rinse as many do. I prefer to use it as the instructions on the bottle say, BEFORE the shampoo. Otherwise it makes my hair feel, uh, slippery. I think that is a good way to describe it.

I also like it on relaxer day as part of the neutralizing step.

i used the porosity control pak the other day. i really liked it. however i'm confused now. I used the little pak for like 2.00 at the BSS. not the actual conditioner bottle. so are they the same thing. the pak said step3...what the heck is step 1 & 2 then?

I think they really are different. I actually like the packet better than the one is the bottle.

I have the full size bottle and plan on using it just after I relax tomorrow at 10.5 weeks, and then I plan to neutralize. Before I have used it just 1 week before relaxing with good results. I use just the conditioner and not the shampoo.
