I have a bottle of Africa's Best Ultimate and I like it because of the near lack of chemicals and it smells nice and clean. It isn't heavy and I use it as a base/carrier oil to mix with my Essential Oils. And they are both inexpensive. I paid $3 for my Ultimate.

Africa's Best Ultimate. I was saying in another thread that I ran out of coconut oil and couldn't get to the health food store that day. I went to a drug store near where I live and ended up getting this oil to use until I could get more coconut oil. It was the one hair oil that they had that seemed the "cleanest". (No cones, parabens, etc.)

I didn't expect much from it, but I actually really like it. It's light and doesn't leave my hair crunchy. I was really surprised. The price is right, too.

I have not used the Utimate but I love the Wonder 8. It's full of all the 'good' stuff.

i just dusted off a bottle of wonder 8 for this set of dry twists. i love that it's not a heavy oil and it really helped detangling before doing the mini twists.

the only thing that bothered me some was (after reading the ingredients hehe) was that it contains paraffin oil.............not sure if that's mineral oil or petroleum product in disguise, a wax or what.

i figured since i'm not oiling my scalp with it, who cares  long as it feels good :lachen:on my hair :lick:

I agree with this as well. I have been using this oil for a while now and i like cause it just has the oils and nothing else. The pwder smell is acceptable to me also.

Hmm myabe i'm different. My hair didn't take too well to this oil and I went back to my first oil love which is the Proclaim brand with various different oils and aloe. My hair loves this especially mixed with ntm.
