I have plenty of new growth right now. I have had my cornrows in the front redone. The last ones lasted 3 weeks. My individuals have a 1 inch of visible new growth. Should I wait out until the first week of Nov and take them out or should I go ahead and do it sooner. I am afraid that the weight of the braids might damage the new growth.

I oil my hair with Africa's Best Herbal Oil with Ginseng and I wash at least once or twice week.

How long have you've had your braids now?
I doubt that it'll damage your new growth b/c it's stronger that your relaxed hair anyway.
Kepp them in as long as it looks good (but not too long, I'm monthly or bi-monthly redoer).

I think you should be fine leaving it in as long as you like.. Just keep it the braids clean and very moisturized.

You should be fine waiting another month. The only issue is do they still look presentable? If they do, 2 months is a great resting time for your hair!
