I was wondering if anyone has any products they don't tell the forums about for fear of not being able to find it anymore/price increase.

Come on in and confess,I can't be the only one.:lachen:

NOPE:nono: everything I use I have found out about here. Before that I had a cabinet of mineral oil and petroleum products.

LOL, spill it!!!!:lachen:

Girl I can picture it now.

(Writes a product rave onLHCF and goes to store to find it)
Elle: looking around in a panic)Umm 'scuse me ma'am why is this whole shelf empty?:look:

Sales clerk:At around 12,a flock of women with buns came in a grabbed them all up at the sales price.I've never seen anything like it before!Did you know the company is thinking of raising the prices soon?

Broke a*s me::rolleyes: those damn LCHF'ers

I'm j/k...I love you ladies hence the reasons why I'm trying a few things out before telling you about them

No, but I do recall a few times when something that is mentioned here that's available online from one or only a few places is completely sold out. I'm like "damn LHCF"

Same here:yep: Now, everything I buy is because I jumped on a bandwagon or it was raved about on here or another hair board. I don't think I own anything that hasn't been mentioned on the hair boards.

I don't have anything like that, but I saw a member post about using these products and I had never heard of them:

http://www.myfasthairgrowth.com/haircare.html

I think they are her own products.

Kind of pricey for me, but I had never known about the products at all. Besides, I doubt anything will give me that much growth. I never get lots of growth with anything like others report.

Anyway, a couple of these were mentioned in one of the "what did you do to your hair this weekend" threads.

I googled them and found her site. Has anyone else ever heard of these?

I came across this website last week as I was surfing the net. I'd never heard of some of the oils though. It would be good to have a review on them.

I know, my Pantene mask is GONE!!:whip: Dang yall women!:lachen:

I share all my favorite products though.....either here or in my fotki. Maybe I should stop, j/k.

that's funny...I think of that when people rave about specific hair salons/stylists. Especially in the DC area. I'm like "damn, I'll never get an appointment there now!"

No, and I don't care about others doing it because I don't depend solely on others to find products.I have no problem sharing my finds. In my region, there are many places to find products, all you have to do is look. In my life, I have gotten a lot of bad recommendations so I take any rave with a grain of salt, do my research, and if a product is out there that meets my needs I will find it. I like documenting my products on here, because it gives me a way to track myself over time, along with my journal.
It is funny to me how some (no one in particular) want everyone else to spill the beans but will "hold out" themselves. But hey, its a free country and it wont hinder me.

No I share everything because I the love the info I've gotten here which explains why I'm posted up here practically every day(okay every day:look:)

I was about to post this then I remembered I don't tell ANYBODY about my Lacio Lacio.

Them: Man your hair looks so soft and silky. You must just have nice hurr

Me::yep: :pinocchio:giggle:

DITTO.....

No. Like others have mentioned, just about everything I use I learned about from this board.

There are a million stores and websites, I really don't think anything is going to be running out.

The prices are a bit high. She sells the Parachute Coconut Oil (200ml) for $12.99 including shipping. I buy mine at the local Indian market for $1.49 (100ml).

Weeellllll:look: I am a true PJ especially pre-LHCF most of the products mentioned here (aside from the Dom products and sulphur) i already had ie shampoos, conditioners, leave ins serums etc I can't seem to help myself i don't mention things probably because i haven't used them in a while/yet, for example I just bought some Swarchzkopf conditioner I KNOW will be great but haven't used it yet, when I do i do toot about them a bit, then move unto the next product:yawn:- I know I need help:rolleyes:

Well, my sister had braids for a short period of time and she bought the African Pride Braid Sheen Spray but barely used . It sat for a long time and finally I finally used it when I ran out of setting lotion. I mixed a little curl activator, left over john jay conditioner, african 6 oil, and i think maybe some suave island coconut in there and its my best letting spray--makes my hair really shiny, soft bouncy. When it gets low I just mixed in almost any conditioner or setting lotion that has just a little bit and maybe a little distilled water to thin out. Was afraid to tell b/c thought some would think it was tacky. I'm a cheapie and don't like to waste anything.:look:

Good point.Thanks for the imput:yep:

I love sharing about great products that work well. Sometimes I get shy about the number of products I use, since I have so many great products in my collection, my pjism does serve me well. :giggle:

However, this does not keep me from naming names, I want all LHCFers to know what's good. :yep:

I took it back to the old school- Vita-D hair food. I use it on my dry scalp only. Also, it keeps my NG soft. I haven't said anything because it's so old. It's not like it's some new product to rave about. There, now you have it LOL

It's me, RedTweetyB. I'm the owner of the products at: www.myfasthairgrowth.com I saw my site mentioned on this post by HoneyDew so I thought why not post a comment. I have been keeping my products a secret for a year, actually about 14 months. The only reason why is because they are my own recipes. So many people keep asking me what I'm using on my hair that I'm finally being open about it but I'm not giving out the recipes because after all of my hard work with trial and error which was a pain in the butt to create them, I know that there are large corporations out there that would steal my hard work (my hair growth formula) to profit from it by charging a massive amount of money for it to customers because it really works and they know most people would pay anything for something that really works. Hek, they already charge alot for stuff that doesn't work. I don't think the prices are high considering the cost to produce and bottle the product and the time involved to produce it. I've paid a whole lot more for stuff that only made my hair dry, stripped, brittle and frizzy. All my products are my own recipe except the bhringraj oil, supplements of course, and the amla shampoo. As far as the coconut oil, if you can find it cheaper somewhere else that's great cause it's no where to be found for a dollar and some change in Virginia. I have to order it online and pay a ridiculous high shipping charge to receive it. :nono:

Happy hair growing ladies.

Really? @ the bolded.

I buy 1000 mL of Parachute Oil in VA for under $10, I think it was $5 or 6. I shop at Indian Groceries in VA. (DC AREA) I guess it depends on which one you go to.
Just proves it pays to shop around, I guess.

I've searched around where I live (Richmond) and we only have one indian store and they don't even carry it. There was one other indian store but they are now closed. By the time I pay for gas to travel to a store in another county or state to get it for a dollar and some change, I guess I would be better off paying for the shipping. I'm always looking for a better deal however. I'm still searching...........
