I just did a henna application but it seems the henna has little sticky "globs" in it that got stuck to my hair and will NOT come out. I've tried a clarifying wash 2x and rinsed like HELL and they will NOT come out. Any suggestions?

Get some cheapie conditioner like VO5 and pour the entire bottle on your head. Cover with a plastic cap and let it soak in for 15 mintues. Then using your fingers and a shower comb, start working on the globs still stuck in your hair.

I have never heard of this happening, but Gymfreak's suggestion sounds like it would help. (((((((((Hugs))))))))))

Softresses

Use the conditioner or the conditioner with some oil. I have never heard of anything being in henna before, Nor have I ever had that experience with it.

Where did you purchase that henna and is it pure henna or a mixture of different powders? Check the box.

It should have looked like fine sifted green powder the same consistency of flour just green.

If there was another powder included like bramhi or shikakai then don't worry they usually contain what I call tiny tree particles, the will come out eventually just rinse for a very looooooooong time for the next week or so.

I usually make teas out of those powders before I use them and use the tea in different things like the henna or another powder or conditioner.

What kind of henna is that anyway?? thats so weird :S

I have never had this happen, however i am so sorry that this happened to you. Try some of the other ladies suggestions. I hope that you get this resolved soon.

It does look like sifted green flour, I'm pretty sure is BAQ, I got it from fromnaturewithlove.com
I dont think it's so much the henna but the conditioner I used with it. It's lustrasilk shea butter cholesterol

That could be it. Sometimes it leaves my hair feeling a little coated. I use it mostly for pre-poos.

Maybe try an oil rinse. Oil picks up dirt and other oil and it might make your strands slick enough to slide the globs off or it might cause them to disintegrate - all the extra conditioner might make your hair soft - and I don't think just rinsing is going to get that stuff out.
