I originally posted this in the Halloween thread, but since it has a potentially valuable hair pic, I'll post it here, too.

The part of Tyrone Biggums is being played by the Wave Cap Guy. I'm just some chick from the 60s or 70s. :lol:

No. We go to the same school now, which is 14 hours away from our homes, friends, family, so we're basically support for each other. He helps me out; I help him out. We're not together, and I would never consider getting back with him, although we do hang out sometimes.

It's crack. He's a crackhead. He used baby powder.

Yup, that's my natural 'fro. I don't know how long it is straightened right now. I don't plan on straightening it again until the barrister's ball in February.

I'm pretty sure people asked all night if your hair is real. Beautiful fro!!

i saw this in the halloween thread and thought it was an afro wig to go with the whole 70s getup! it looks awesome, werk it girl!!!!!
 
Thanks y'all. It's ironic, as Dsylla pointed out in the Halloween thread, that my costume matches my avatar. :lol: I went looking for a costume at the last minute, and didn't want to pay $90 for one. Then when I saw one for $24.44, I picked it up. The size was Teen Size: one size fits all. I thought, "That can probably fit me." I didn't even try it on. It was pretty tight getting on, though. :lol:

I had detangled my hair on Sunday night, and it turned into an afro before I put it in a bun. That's where I got the idea, so I took it out of the bun and teased it before the party. Then I had my afro to go with the costume. I finally found a good use for my hair. WCG said that my hair looked good like that, and I should wear it like that every day. Then he was like, "You'd be blocking people's view, and them white folks will be mad as h*ll." :lachen: What about the black folks? :lol:

Anyway, the party was crowded. We had a quite a few characters other than Tyrone Biggums, for example a white Michael Jackson and black Michael Jackson. I just had to get a picture of them. :lol: I was surprised at how resilient my afro was. With so many people there, it got hit a few times, but it kept its shape. Maybe I'll wear one more often. :)
