It looks really good on you. :) Are you planning on growing it out long and natural?

Yesireeee!!!...I love long hair but i cant deal with the relaxer plus my eczema has creeped into my scalp and because of this my hair wont stop shedding....I just started relaxing my hair Nov 06 and by Feb it was coming out daily and only now has started growing back...but i dont have the patience to baby relaxed hair...i just went for broke in the bathroom with a scissor and will just baby my natural hair

Congrats on your Big Chop!! It looks very cute on you:yep:.

I have eczema too which is why I stopped relaxing. I use Nizoral once a month on my scalp to keep things under control. I see you use Jasons product, maybe I will try that too.

I recently read that cod liver oil is suppose to help with different skin conditions so I orderd that and will start as soon as it gets here.

I plan to take it orally - 1 teaspoon a day.

I was reading up on eczema treatments (as usual:grin:), trying to find different natural things I can do to keep it under control and I found recommendations that said it was good to take for overall health and skin.

This is one site (http://drbenkim.com/codliveroil.html) that provided information on the oil itself, but I ordered it from Iherb.com. I was surfing other sites too and many said the essential fatty acids are very helpful.

I have regular castor oil that I have used for oil rinses, but not the black castor oil. I should look into that too.

Can u explain the whole oil rinse thing for me????

This is a technique that Sareca shared with the board. Here's the link to the thread:
http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=150965

Lots of natural and relaxed are having very good detangling and moisturizing results with this method:yep:.

(Sareca's instructions)
  1. Rinse (or shampoo) your hair
  2. Coat in your favorite oil (I've used olive, meadowfoam, dabur alma, and aphogee EFA oil, red palm oil/butter)
  3. Rinse with warm/hot water
  4. Apply conditioner
  5. Rinse
  6. Apply leave-in
  7. Seal

Kinda unrelated, but I'm listening to Kirk Franklin "Imagine Me" right now, and the part where they're like "Gone, All Gone!" was on when I saw your thread...
Congrats though...
