But Co Washing is the Truth like Sojourner

I really love how my hair feels afterwards ..

all supple and sexy and maybe its my conditioners but

Goodness!

I co washed all this week and I love how my hair feels. I hadn't done this in about a year. I forgot how much I like it. I used Tresemme Smooth & Silky and I love it!

I think that I am going to have to go back to co washing regularly.

Hi. Question, do you still co-wash in the winter season? If so, how are you doing it so that you won't catch a cold, espcially if you are doing it at night and airdrying and have to go to work in the morning.

Just curious.

Are you straightening your hair back out each time you co-wash? If you do in short what is your technique?

:grin:I've been cowashing and wet bunning everyday so far. I will be doing this all during the winter like I did last winter. I love it. It seems to keep my steady rate of 1/2 inch during the winter months. And my hair stays moisturized.

I usually cowash and put in pony and braid or twist the hair thats out.
I bun sometimes too :)

Then conditioners I use are:

Tresemme Moisture Rich
ORS Replenishing
Motions Moisture Plus
V05 Tea Therapy
White Rain Coconut
Lustrasilk Herbal Cholesterol
Castor Oil
EVOO

I keep it in a tub .. Lawd *fans self*

I too love conditioner washing. I even put on the same conditioner as a smoothing agent to lay down my buns. It works well for me. :)

Cosigning! I got my hair done last saturday and last night I co-washed. My hair felt like, "Thank you...I missed this." I plan on getting my hair done again on saturday but after that I will going when needed because I perfer cowashing and bunning.

No, I do not straighten it. My hair needs a serious break from heat right now!! I wear it in a wet bun.

I have been washing in the morning, but when it starts to get colder, I will have to do it at night and airdry in a bun.

I love cowashing too! I did it all spring and summer and my hair grew really fast and I retained all the length, plus it stayed moisturized I want to go back to it I think but I cant make up my mind between cowashing every 1-2 days or washing once a week and trying not to manipulate my hair much in between (bunning,no coming,etc)....
Im kind of experimenting and it seems like my hair craves the moisture from cowashing because it keeps getting dry a couple of days post wash.

Major Cosign. I always thought I couldn't do it but after finding conditioners that work well, I don't see how I have been with out it.

I use pantene mask, ors replenishing, garnier sleek and shine and vo5 moisture milks to co wash.

I cowashed this merning after being straight haired all week and boy does it feel good. My hair is still soft thanks to my products

Yes. I love my daily Tresemme. It makes my hair feel wonderful. I would never think of using anything else.

I love cowashing also. I dont normally cowash in the winter because I can't stand to be cold. I will only 'winter cowash' if I know I am staying in for the day.

I co-washed exclusively for about 7 months (except for when I got my relaxer every three months). My hair loved it, and still does. It's only that my hair gets gunky very quickly and I'd have to wash my hair pretty much every day, so I decided to add a capful of natural soap to my co-washes. I use natural castile soap. It contains no sulfates and is very gentle. It gently cleanses my hair without drying it out.

I co wash daily when my hair gets 6 weeks post relaxer to help stretch my relaxer.
In the Winter I try to co wash in the afternoon and not at night and up my vitamin c intake.
I use White Rain Tropical Coconut ,VO5 Nourish Spa and DDTA.
