I tried it for the first time a couple days ago and it made my hair soooooo soft not to mention it smells sooooooo good!! Just wanted to share because I'm not really a pj but I might be storing this one in my arsenal.

Dang onit!v I should have bought some! :wallbash:

Yeah, I discovered it a couple days ago. I be forgetting what I buy!!! I also brought some other stuff that is coming in the mail because I couldn't take it on the plane. I should have brought a tub of it!

If I ever make it down to Atlanta you can have mine:yep:

It is my new favorite conditioner. It smells sooo good and leaves my hair bouncy and shiny. I hope my hair does not get tired of it.

 You finally tried it out? I'm glad you liked it. Now I might have to try. Did you try rollersetting with Lacio Lacio yet? That's next on my list of things to do.

I'm waiting on the lacio to arrive so I can try rollersetting with it. I will be sure to post pics if ole boy in New York ever sends it.

NO!

Give it to me! She already has some!

Traitor, that's why you're not getting mine once I'm tired of it!!!:p If you would've stopped practicing your Michael Jackson moves then you would've been able to concentrate long enough to buy some silicon mix. :lachen: Oh, did I mention how soft my hair is and what good slip it has?:p

I was channelling Mike cause he has some nice hair! :perplexed

Or had some nice hair! :lachen:

This stuff is great! My cousin is headed back to NYC to visit our grandmother and will be bringing me back some Lacio Lacio and a big ol' thing of Silicon Mix. It is VERY cheap up there.

^^ good call. MOST Dominican products are super cheap in NYC--especially in Washington Heights where they have Dominican Salons/BSS on every block. Also try Alphaparf products--a popular haircare brand in DR.

Alphaparf? Never heard of it. I am natural so I am constantly looking for products for moisture and Silicon Mix does JUST THAT!!!!

I am looking for Lacio Lacio to keep me moisturized by using it as a leave-in daily.

Sho' you right! I love it, too! Sometimes I mix that with Miss Key 10 en 1 for extra deep conditioning and moisturizing. SM smells like heaven, but sometimes I can still smell it after a wash and can be strong and lingering. Don't like the leave-in, though.

Silicon Mix is the s#@!, I got tried of buying the small jar every three months so I bought the 60 oz. jar.

I love silicon mix too. It totally softened my new growth the first time I used it. I even use it on my 5-year old DD and it makes her natural 4a hair way easier to manage. I still smell it in her hair at the 2-week take-down from her corn rows.:yep:

I'm having mixed feelings about Silicon Mix now. The first time I tried it, I put it on dry hair for 20 minutes under the dryer and just rinsed it out. It made my ends kinda rough and my hair was really fluffy and soft but dry.
I didn't care becasue it smelt good and my hair was light and flufy. But the next time I tried it, I put it on wet hair for 20 minutes under the dyer after I shampooed and I did not like that at all. It left my hair very hard to comb through and I had to clarify to get it bak to normal again. I don't know what that was about, bit I got the same feeling to my hair the thrid time I tried it.

I bought the big 60oz. tub of it too. I'm still trying to figure out how to use this the best way before I give it up. I like the smell and the fluff it gives to my hair but the stiffness while wet is what I hate.

I think that Silicon mix can't be used at every wash or else we risk 'cone build-up. If it is to be used often, I think clarifying would be beneficial.

Absolutely! You have to be really careful about using too much. I only use once or twice a month. Need to clarify once a month or more if you use it more often. I mixed my with Miss Key 10 en 1, but it's still very strong and can cause build up. It's a fantastic deep conditioner, though. :yep:

I agree. I used it last night, and I was so pleased with the results. I mixed it with a little Keracare Humecto and Affirm Fiberguard Sustenance Reconstructor. My hair is still very soft!
