Where do you begin to notice your new growth coming in? I always notice that the top and middle of my hair has new growth first and eventually the sides and then the back and front.

At first I thought you were asking were does your hair grow from? :lachen: The root obviously. I thought you might have been a newbie or something, but then I saw the poll. It's between the top and the middle for me.

Voted middle, the crown is where I notice the newgrowth first and that is where I have the most newgrowth as well...

:ha: :ha: :ha: :ha: this had me cracking up!

Hard to choose for me because I notice NG over my entire left side first. Mostly on the crown, but it all kicks in around the same time. My right side takes a LONG time for the NG to kick it. But, you know what - my right side is longer and stronger. Interesting.

I notice it mostly at the top and middle too. It seems like I just got my hair done (three weeks ago) and I started feeling ng about a week ago. Must be a spurt...either that or I just never noticed how fast it came in before.

It's hard for me to tell since I'm natural. But when my roots start thickening up, I tend see that as a sign of growth since it acts differently than the rest of my hair.

I feel it first in the middle,

I see it first in the front, right on my hair line..

ironically the middle is and has always been my problem spot....

OOh..My crown is my glory. I wish I could start to see newgrowth in the back where I need it most. Especially in the middle, but it always starts at my crown and in the front.

It depends. My hair does this back and forth thing quite a lot.

After the retouch before this one, it was all in the back/kitchen area and it showed last in front.

I always feel and see it in the crown area first. I never feel it much in the back but that what always shows signs of growth the much. Weird

It's exactly the same for me. I think b/c the hair texture in the middle grows so fast, the demarcation line snaps or something. I'm still trying to get a handle on it. I was just playing in the forest on top of my head before typing!

I feel it at the crown first. Which is odd considering that my hair seems shortest there right now:confused:

I always notice my newgrowth in the back and crown first, It actually comes rather quick at least two weeks after my relaxer... I don't know if I need a stronger formula or what.

Since I'm natural, I really can't see it but I can feel it in the crown area. The one thing that also gives it away is my back or kitchen are. I shave it every month and when I feel my hair growing in my crown area, then I usually see it in the back or as I call, my kitchen.:lachen:
