It came out better than expected!

I couldn't get to the salon today. They usually set it for me. So I was forced to do it myself. I'm not sure if I want to blow the roots out or anything. I might just leave it. What do you all think? give it to me straight I can take it!! here are the results:

(there are no face shots b/c I'm broken out from the MSM  )

Yes, it looks really nice. Your curls look really bouncy, like they have some life to them. Keep up the good work!

thanks everyone! this is really a breakthrough moment for me. I realize I am no longer dependent on the salon for everything. I certainly thought I had to go for the Pibbs alone :spinning: but my old bonnet dryer hand-me-down from the '60s worked just fine

I heart LHCF

La Criolla what rollers did you use (size, color?) cause mine never come out so spiraly (not a word...but you get it). TIA

Wonderful results and beautiful hair!!! So sorry about the break outs- Try swabbing some tea tree oil on the pimples after using your facial cleanser- It cleared mine up:grin::grin:!

thanks guys

caribgirl- i'll pick up some tea tree oil today! any excuse to go the store..

NISHA - I used 2 different sizes. a 1.5" magnetic in the front and a 2" magnetic roller in the back. I secured them with clips. I think it came out spiraly because of the way i rolled it. i started off with the mohawk as per usual, but on the sides i rolled the hair so that the rollers were vertical.
