Wow, I never knew that cream of nature was sulfate free. I love that stuff. It really help to detangle. Now I've heard that blended beauty stuff is good. Im going to get the soy cream shampoo soon. Also black soap is really good too. It get my hair a little too squeaky clean though, but it has a great lather.

Alterna TEN shampoo. Although I am an Aveda lover, I used Alterna for the first time last week, and my hair loved it. On the bottle it states,...A sulfate free cleanser that rebuilds and nourishes all hair types for customized hair results.

Most conditioners don't have sulfates.

FYI. I just purchased CON Shampoo and Conditioner from Target for $1.86 ea. You just can't beat that and the moisture that you get is great

I am looking at my bottle of Abba Moisture Scentsation Shampoo and it does not contain ALS. Maybe mine is an older formula? I only bought them recently, though.

Okay so today I went to a store that has Pureology on clearance. The only one they have left is the Super Straight shampoo. It says ZeroSulfate on the bottle, but here are the ingredients:

I wonder if it is still as drying. None of my other Sulfate free poos have anything like that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure all Pureology's shampoos are supposed to be sulfate free. I haven't tried the hydrate poo yet though. Did you get a sample of the onditioner too? I almost got the hydrate, but I was already over-doing it with all the other Purelogy products I bought.

Yes, I have the conditioner, as well. Pureology had a sample campaign going on about a year ago. I got samples of the Hydrate duo and the ReconstructRepair.

It's much milder than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate because most of it is derived from fruits like coconuts or vegetables. It's often used in children's products to avoid skin and eye irritation.

Sodium lauryl sulfoacetate-
Derived from coconut and palm oils; a safe, skin-friendly surfactant (foaming agent) for both skin and hair. This mild plant derived surfactant creates a rich, luxurious lather that effectively removes surface oil, dirt and bacteria, without stripping or drying sensitive skin. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is also hydrophilic. This means it is attracted to water, which enables it to dissolve more readily in water, thus providing superior rinseablility.

i don't know if you have an older or newer version, i ordered a bottle of the abba moisture scentsation shampoo from drugstore.com and it contains ALS, maybe i have an old bottle
