Here you go http://www.imperialsales.net/512.html

I ended up doing a search for pibbs 512 which is how I got to the link even though it doesn't say appliance source anymore.

Uh, uh. I want one tooooooo!:yep:

So, this is good for deep conditioning, rollersets, rod sets, wrapping, and any other wet sets.

You just adjust it to the chair you are sitting in. Does it tilt back a little?:look:

Congrats on your new dryer. So the only difference between the 512 and 514 is the temps? I'll have to find out how many temp settings the 514 has.

DivaRox.. I did my rollerset and left and went outside to a game and errah uh :nono: I think I just wanted an excuse to use Denise again :lachen:

Alexstin.. there is a difference. On the 514 your temp settings are actually state in degrees. On the 512 there are 22 differenet settings that go from Low-Med-High but there is no actually temp stated on it.

And DaAaaaAAAAAMN!!! Can a chick get a commission with all ya'll buying em from them?? Maybe I shoulda contact them

-That's MsDee coming in here posting all this good discount info- I heart her:yep:

Umm... don't give me too much credit :look:

I found this 2 weeks ago, but I wanted to make sure I got mine in my hand before I told ya'll because I didn't want them to get all bought up without me getting mine

I told myself I wasn't going to succumb to the Pibbs bandwagon, but, umm...:sekret:... does this dryer fold down or compact for easy storage??

NO!!!! I'm happy I have an extra bedroom and closet to put this in... but it's a REAL *** dryer that takes up space... but at least it's not the full chair unit like my mama has that takes up EVEN MORE space

Enjoy!

I know that's right, once you let folks know anything especially here where there are a lot of lurkers, b4 you can press pay/submit/etc. it be sold out!

I went to BuyRite on Wednesday and purchased the Pibbs 514. :yay: It's still in the box though. I think because I'm still in a sew in and won't be using for a little while. But, I'm so excited about my new purchase!

What's so great about this dryer? If I am watching TV, will I still be able to hear the TV with this dryer on? For thick dense haired people, like myself, does it dry quicker?

Can someone who has a Pibbs give me a measurment of the opening and the depth? I'd really like to get one but they seem to narrow for me to fit my fat head and Gray+ rollers.

It's just a great dryer. It dries quickly and evenly. It is comfortable. I dry my hair on Medium and it never gets too hot under there for me and I still dry fast (30 min). I can sit at my desk and dry my hair (I work from my home office so this is so convenient). I can also just read LHCF....lol. I can sit up straight..so I'm not aching when I get up like I used to with those darned table top dryers. You hair will come out like you have been to the salon each time you use it. You can't get better than that.

I don't know about the television...I usually don't watch when I'm under. I work, read, listen to Ipod or something. It's kind of loud but not terribly so. I know that I can't hear my husband or kids well if they speak to me while I am under but I can hear them....just not clearly but all I have to do is put the visor up (there is a flip visor in front) and then I can hear fine.

How does it tilt downwards? I just bought a knockoff Pibbs and I cant for the life of me figure out how it goes down. I attached the knob thingy into the pole (you all know what I'm talking about, right?) But the dryer hood is just facing up and I'm too afraid to put some muscle into it to tilt it down!
