I must admit to feelin' slightly guilty about starting this thread but.... I'm completely in love with my hair and I had to share.

I know there are a lot of threads about hair disasters and disappointments, I'm not knocking those God knows I've started my share, but there have to be other people besides me that are happy ...finally...right?
 
You should be happy! Your hair has always been pretty but these latest pictures are incredible. I'm pretty happy with my hair right now too. I've been wanting to twist my hair for a week now and can't find the time or the energy. Not having a love affair...but I'm happy :).
 
You just articulated what I've been feeling for some time now: A Hair Love Affair and it's with my own hair!:lachen: It's so behaving, looking good, feeling good, it's ALL good right now.

Your hair, now that's something to have a love affair with: always gorgeous!
 
I'm loving my hair these days. It's shiny, thick, and I just can't get enough of it. It's really true what they say; you do reap the benefits of doing right by your hair.:yep:
 
We got a love hate thing going on right now. I will love it more when I muster up the courage to chop off an inch of these splitting ends. I am thinking of cutting my hair into a bob like Scorpian.

I wasnt feeling my hair for a couple weeks and then I rediscovered some products I hadnt used in a while...my hair responded so wonderfully....that I fell right back in love. So as long as I stick to my staples....we're good :yep:

What?! Studies have shown that seranading your hair leads to increased hair growth. Seranade challenge anyone? LOL...Just kidding.

I'm in love with my hair too. It's everything I never thought it would never be.

I love my hair but somedays I want more from her. She is telling me that is all she can me give right now. I am waiting patiently because I know our love can last. :drunk:

I'm definitely in love right now. I expected my transition to be hard, but it's mostly been a breeze. I'm happy about that. I'm also loving my length, and the fact that I have hardly any breakage. Life (hair) is good right now!:grin:

Can I check back after my relaxer on Nov 1st..right now my hair is in braids and I'm not feeling anything..negative or positive
 
Nope!

There was miscommunication a while ago, and now we're not getting along like we used to.

Hopefully we can rekindle the romance with some lotions or oils or something.
 
Honestly, I don't think there was ever I time where I hated or didn't like my hair or it's length. :)

I loved it when it was short back in 1999, like short short I just barely had enough hair to make s-curls. I let to grow to a Nia long short cut, LOVED that. Fun was over when DH wanted to see my hair long, so I grew it, and I like it now too.

It's really about relaxing and having fun with your hair at any length, texture, etc. I can't wait until the day I decide to SHAVE it bald, rock a tight fade and line it like Steve Harvey!!, I know I will love that too! I asked DH what he would think if I did that (because I have been really considering cutting it into a skin tight fade) and he said he knows I would look good, so shoooo its all good! :yep:

yup, same here! i'm always having fun with it. Lately, I've been having a ball pampering it and experimenting and seeing it go thru its various stages!
 
I've always loved my hair. It's been good to me, and I don't see our
love changing at any time. I love her when she's short, long, nappy,
curly, or just plain frizzy, because whatever state she's in she is my
friend.

I have enjoyed my hair in each stage, but right now I am seriously infatuated. Its more than returning all the good treatment I've given it.

My hair used to take a lot of work to look the way I wanted it to look--even then it was hit or miss. Now it pretty much does everything by itself without much effort from me. I love it!
 
I'm finally satisfied with my hair. I guess thats why i hadn't updated my fotki in almost 2 months. I love the health of my hair. By this time next year i'll be satisfied with the length:)

I too am in love with my hair :love: and this affair continues to get better.:spinning:
 
The love for my hair has grown in the last few months. We still have our battles, but I believe as I become more aware of her needs, the love will be even greater:kiss2:

BTW This is a fun thread Sareca, and your hair is gorgeous:weird:
