I absolutely love my new flatiron  I did research here and saw Sistaslick's "infomercial" :lachen: and ordered it from folica.com Monday night. It came on Wednesday!! I washed and rollerset my hair last night. And this morning I used it to straighten. I have about 1/2in - 1in of NG you can kinda see it in the pic where I'm only halfway through. I set it to 230 degrees (it heated up in less than 10 seconds) and it just glided through my hair and didn't burn my scalp at all. It added a lot of shine and made my hair really smooth and soft. My only complaint is that my hair got caught in it a few times and got pulled out  but this is definitely the best iron I've ever used.

Very Pretty. My maxi-glide is on the way hopefully I will be able to get results as good as yours. If not I am going to send it back and get what you got!!

thanx ladies!! when i read the reviews for this online it says it willhave you looking like you just left the salon, and that's what i felt like for real! It helps that I hadjust taken out a rollerset so it still had fullness from that :yep:

well, chanel and divinefavor, let me know the results you all have ok!?

Your hair looks beautiful! You did a great job.
I have this same iron, but haven't done my whole
head with it yet...not properly anyway.:perplexed Now that
I know how to do it correctly, my results should be nice.
Anyway, enough about me. Congrats!

Will do! I'm in a sew in right now, but I'm definitely going to try it on my weave. I can't wait until it gets here. I got an e-mail last night that it had already been shipped!

This has been such a great hair product love myself purchase week. I purchased the Pibbs 514 and the FHI. I think I'm done for a while, except I'm out of some Aveda stuff that I need to get.

Sigh...Now I have to purchase both the FHI and the Solia. I heard so many great reviews about both of them, but I really can't decide which one to purchase.

BEAUTIFUL!!! :D

I have my Solia which I love to death.... but if it should happen to die (which I pray it doesnt!) then I may look into the FHI.

ooh, the Pibbs, I'm seriously considering that! I rarely use a dryer (I airdry even when I rollerset), so I don't know if it'd be worth it for me... But I just WANT it :look:

LOL, sorry to do it to ya hun. I know you will not regret the FHI!

:huh:the flat iron seems masculine? :lachen::lachen::lachen:

ok, i can't be the only one that thinks this!! It's not like a dainty little pink iron, it's slate gray and very sturdy. although it's small it has some weight to it, and just gets the job done!! KWIM?!

ok, i know i'm not crazy... :help2:
