For those who use it to dry their hair, would someone explain the process? How is it done? I've read posts with ladies referring to it.
Thank you.

I've never heard of the scarf method other than on this board. But whenever I airdry my hair I put a scarf over my entire head not just the edges and my hair dries soft. I put on my moisturizer pin my hair up then put a scarf over my whole head and I never have the dryness or crunchiness from airdrying that other people complain about on this board. Some of those people say they use the "scarf method". I never could figure out why it didn't work for others now that I know what the "scarf method" is I see why it didn't do a thing for their crunchiness when airdrying.
I have been doing it my way for years long before the hairboards or even the internet. Never had a problem airdrying.
bumping for me...first time using sylvers method (instead of the basic co-wash ponytail and tie down with a scarf) i want to try using the bantu knots or rollers to give my ponytail more sleekness and not curly
